Thursday the day before yesterday happened to be the double-numbered day I could buy, so after dinner (really Buddhist), I wanted to talk about the town where we live. Buy it if you have it, forget it if you don't.

As a result, I found three or four rooms and I was dumbfounded and wanted to say, "Socks! I can't buy them in this rural area? I don't believe it!"

Immediately drive to several more shops, really all are sold out, 10 pharmacies do not have a quick screening? ! Okay! Sure enough, Taiwanese love to line up to buy limited-edition products, hahahaha!

Thinking about the popularity of quick screening recently, I suddenly thought that after the Lunar New Year this year, because I was very close to the confirmed cases on my footprints, I overlapped with the other party's toilet in the same department store at that time, so I dutifully did the quick screening and then contacted the southern ones. Friends meet.

At that time, I thought this experience was very interesting, and I wanted to write it down. After all, the experience of "self-poking" the nose should have been very little at that time, right? We grasp any subject that can be written as an experience article! But it wasn't long after I took the photo, and I forgot about it completely.

Now I have found it in the album again, to share my quick screening experience with you.

This time, the "Roche Home New Coronavirus Antigen Self-Testing Kit (Nasal)" is used, which happens to be the same brand as the box of 5 that has been in the news recently.

Although the pharmacy wanted to sell 5 packs at a discount to me, I only bought 1 pack from the convenience group . After all, there were very few confirmed cases in Taiwan at that time! The other party may also suffer from the dilemma of not being able to sell it, but it is very popular now.

Contents:

 Aluminum foil bag*1 (including test equipment and desiccant pack)
Test tube containing liquid*1
Nozzle cap*1
Sterile swab*1 (that's the cotton swab that pokes the nose!)

These two things are contained in the aluminum foil bag, and the desiccant package is followed by the small box that shows one line and two lines.

The instructions will say, if you open it and see yellow, it means → OK , the reagent can still be used.

If it is green, it means that it has been damp and useless, and this dose of 100 yuan is worthless.

Before taking the test, you should blow your nose lightly.

Next, I won't take pictures of the part where I poke my nose. I'm afraid it will be unsightly, so I'll tell you a little about the situation.

First, open the pack of cotton swabs, taking care not to touch the tip of the cotton with your fingers , which is the part that goes into your nasal cavity.

Next is the most important "put it in the nose". Some people may feel that it is a bit strange to come here and want to ask family members, relatives, friends, and colleagues to do it for you. I have to give you advice: "Don't!"

Don’t let others poke their noses while doing PCR on TV and think it’s OK. In fact, the quick screening only needs to be put into the nasal cavity about 2.5 cm, and you can control the “power” by yourself.

As for that 2.5 cm, it cannot be measured with a ruler. The simple judgment is probably:

First tilt your head slightly, then stick the cotton swab into your nose, you will find that it "stucks" at a certain depth, which means you have arrived at the inspection point! Don't force it in.

At this time, make 5 laps slowly , and then switch sides and make 5 laps , and the inspection steps are completed!

Next, open the sealing film of this small test tube with liquid, put the cotton swab in it and soak it for about 1 minute.

When I read the manual and the video, they all said that there is a "test tube rack" in the package, but I actually opened the package and found that I couldn't find it at all.

I'm now asking a friend who used a 5-pack pack earlier, and he said that the 5-pack "has a test tube rack" inside , but my one-pack "convenience pack" didn't have one, so I could only use it at that time. Keep holding it with both hands, after all, it will be broken when it falls down.

When the cotton swab is taken out, stir the liquid in the test tube a little bit, and squeeze the tube body slightly when taking it out, so as to squeeze the reagent absorbed by the cotton swab in the tube as dry as possible. The manual says this is more accurate! Don't forget this step.

The tube is somewhat flexible, like a relatively rigid straw.

The next step is to close the lid and drip the reagent onto the test strip!

I remember when I said 3 to 5 drops, I was greedy and took the maximum value !

Next, you can watch him slowly rise, the process is quite healing.

The instruction manual says that you have to wait 15 minutes to know the result. He has a time interval. The readings taken 15 minutes ago and 30 minutes later may be "incorrect" . You can check the time yourself.

Although I saw the line quite early, I still waited until 15 minutes.
