After every meeting, we must leave footprints, advocate specific goals, and provide more means to gather centripetal force.

In the new year and new atmosphere, the format of the 2022 Online Oral Expression Reading Club has been adjusted a few times. This is the consensus reached after everyone brainstormed (in January). These valuable opinions on "group management" are recorded in writing. There are three Optimize direction and share.

■ Every meeting must leave traces behind

Decided to open a Google Workspace that can be "co-edited in the cloud" so that every meeting can leave a trace. This link can lead to:

  • There are 6 core consensus <br class="smart">in total, which can be understood as the operating rules of the book club.
  • Minutes of each meeting <br class="smart">Time, location, participants, goals, themes - the more special "goals" will be discussed in detail later.
  • Self-evaluation and feedback <br class="smart">Each person has a separate page. After the meeting (the speaker) writes down his or her own experience. Next to it is the "Feedback from Others" area, because it is an anonymous message after the meeting . On the one hand, there is enough time to think back and formulate, and on the other hand, it will not hinder human feelings and can speak freely.

■ Advocate for specific goals

Different from the past, this year (the speaker) before introducing his topic, he proposed to everyone the specific goals set for this sharing , such as a time limit of 5 minutes, avoiding certain redundant words, etc. After the audience received this message, they quickly Then listen more attentively and activate the reconnaissance antenna.

There are two speakers in each meeting, and it is stipulated that the "goals" of the two people must be the same (the topic is not limited), so the two of them must negotiate and discuss privately in advance① . This can cultivate (revolutionary) emotions. After all, the group members Initially, I joined through online forums.



■ More means to gather centripetal force

Adding " offline ②" reading meetings once every 3 to 6 months. Face-to-face expression can observe more characteristics (eyes, expressions, body language), which also echoes the enhanced concept of cultivating emotions just mentioned.

Someone mentioned that " the Line group is not very popular③ " in normal times, which started a series of enthusiastic comments.
