I was listening to the past of the "enemy Taiwan"

In the 1990s, I spent a few years in a coastal city. One of the advantages of coastal areas is that the radio can pick up "enemy stations", and my favorite "enemy station" is VOA.

At that time, after the calamity of 8964, in order to prolong the life of the Communist regime, the Xi Dynasty had started reform and opening up again, and focused on economic construction. It was not as sensitive to listening to "enemy Taiwan" as it was during the Cultural Revolution. In fact, in order to learn English, many people share their experiences of listening to "enemy Taiwan" openly or secretly.

I remember that when I was preparing for the postgraduate entrance examination and the TOEFL test, I went back to the dormitory every day, turned on the radio whenever I had time, and listened to the English broadcast of VOA. Now I don't remember exactly what I heard. It should be some negative news in China, but it may not be particularly sensational, otherwise I can remember it.

But I do remember one thing: VOA's broadcasts talked about family planning every three days, saying that it violated the human rights of the Chinese people. Every time I hear this kind of broadcast about family planning, my most direct reaction is: cut! gab.

But at the time, I didn't think deeply about it: Why do I think the anti-family planning broadcast is nonsense?

I just had an intuition that when VOA said those words, it was not thinking about family planning from a woman's point of view. At the very least, the women around me are far more unfortunate because of having a large number of children than those who are in a position of abiding by family planning policies (i.e. wearing a birth control ring according to government regulations, which is what the VOA refers to as being "violated" by family planning), The odds of being unlucky without having a ton of kids are much higher.

This can be seen from my grandmother and my mother: my grandmother gave birth to a total of 9 children, and less than half survived. But because of the confinement disease caused by these 9 births, it has been with her for the rest of her life: every night she goes to bed, her grandmother will cough violently, and no medicine will help. Since I can remember, she has been like this, and she has never slept a single one. Peace of mind, sometimes I feel like she's about to cough up her internal organs. As for my mother, partly because of family planning, she has only one child like me, so she did not endure the pain of childbirth as many times as my grandmother did, nor did she suffer from confinement diseases.

No matter how disdainful I am of VOA's report that criticized family planning, when I heard about the "enemy Taiwan", I was still given a small report by my roommate to the leader. One day during a meeting, the leader did not mention someone listening to the "enemy Taiwan" by name, but he didn't say anything, but just reminded those who listened to the "enemy Taiwan" to pay attention to the influence.

After that, no leader asked me to talk to me alone, and no police station asked me to "drink tea" -- there was no such thing as "drinking tea" at that time.

As for this kind of reminder from the leader, perhaps not without good intentions, my reaction was to think silently in my heart: What is the era, and I still hold on to this cultural revolution mentality, old fashioned!

Then I went back to the dorm and continued to listen to VOA, except when I had roommates around I would wear headphones.

Today, more than 20 years later, neither the CCP nor the VOA has changed much: the CCP built GFW to prevent netizens from accessing overseas websites, which is essentially the same as when Chinese people were prohibited from listening to "enemy Taiwan". They do that because they have a guilty conscience and understand that their own regime, the country, is not legally inherited from their "father" the Republic of China or the Manchu Qing Dynasty, as some Wu Mao dogs who lack a father in the five elements say, but "fighting" It was taken from the Republic of China through the use of illegal terrorist means to subvert the legitimate government of the Republic of China.

As for VOA, they still do not look at family planning from the perspective of Chinese women, and they still repeat the same old tune like a repeater year after year. If there is any difference from the previous ones, it is that they have introduced the lies of the anti-birth control faction such as the master counterfeiter Yi Fuxian .

It is me who has changed. Now I understand that VOA's repeater anchors didn't realize a key problem: Before family planning violated the "human rights" of Chinese people, Chinese women have always been violated by this patriarchal society in terms of childbirth. Because this society has adopted various social customs and public opinions that discriminate against women (the rumors of the seven aunts and eight uncles), as well as belittling and oppressing women in education, economy and politics, women cannot obtain independent economic status and cannot choose what they want. In this way, the husbands, in-laws, seven aunts, and eight grandfathers can disregard the wishes of women and force women to act as reproductive tools.

The implementation of family planning, in essence, is inadvertently suppressing the husband's family's violation of women's reproductive rights. Of course, I do not deny that in the process of implementing family planning, there is a phenomenon of overdoing it. But because of this phenomenon, the positive significance of family planning in other aspects cannot be denied.

Looking back on my own experience in the past few decades, I think that neither the "enemy Taiwan" nor the website outside the wall is as terrible as the CCP bandits imagined. But the communist bandits consist of a group of scumbags who are as cowardly as mice and cannot support the wall. Xi Wenzhu's phrase "no one is a man" is the most accurate description of the CCP bandits.

Fortunately, there are still some more sane women in this country. Whether it's the Communist bandit or the "enemy Taiwan", before you deceive the world with your own lies, you should think carefully: Don't think that you will use the beautiful banners of "liberation", "freedom", "human rights" and so on, and people will You are welcome with open arms. The Chinese people have been deceived once by the beautiful lies of the CCP, and they are not so easy to deceive.

As for those liberals who talk about human rights, but only think about man'r rights in their minds, and even openly claim that women's rights are not human rights, please take a break. For women, you and the Communist bandits are only half a pound. If you don't learn to listen to women's voices and respect women's ideas, even if one day you really overthrow the Communist bandits and build a democratic society, women will vote you out of class.
