"Chainsaw Man" | Wulei Experience Sharing
It took two nights to read the first comic of "Chainsaw Man".
Originally, I just wanted to casually flip through the first chapter. I wanted to know what story this popular comic is about. I didn't expect the first chapter of this comic to be very attractive. The book caught me right away, and I read five books in one go last night.
I like the mutual cherishing feelings between Yoonji and Pochita; I like the description of Qiu's childhood; I like Qiu; I like Mr. Fujimoto's painting skills, mirroring, and storytelling skills.
Thinking about it again, the first episode is really, really powerful.
Tonight, I continued to read the remaining six to eleven books, and I finished it very smoothly. I found this work to be special to me because it wasn't the kind of work I thought I would love when I first saw it (like JOJO, Attack on Titan, Yu-Gi-Oh, Spell Fight ") or watching it, you will become distracted with life because you are very involved in the plot, and have been in a state of wanting to continue reading comics as soon as possible (such as "Ghost Slayer").
"Chainsaw Man" can even be said to be a style of work in my past life that I didn't think I would like. It's a little crazy, a little messy, a little less serious... definitely not something I would have liked before, and probably haven't seen it yet.
But "The Chainsaw Man" captures me now in a very slow but confident way. Maybe I finally understand that a crazy, chaotic, and not-so-serious life is what life is really like.
The storyline is neither cheerful nor bright, but there is something fascinating about the dark, hopeless ambience that seems to have a tinge of light.
Everyone keeps moving forward/acting/struggling for a mission/dream/attachment/curse that may or may not be utterable.
Repeat until death.

(In the end, I still like the most "serious" one 😛)
