Hui Tai's Views| Parasite / The Father / LaLaLand
Because Hui Tai was infected by the sloth's laziness (no, don't you actually think that sloths are not lazy at all? He is super diligent when he publishes the article!), Hui Tai decided to write a short review to read it during this time. A few movies, to solve the problem of procrastination.
The following review contains spoilers.
1. Parasite
The feeling of watching this movie can only be described by the word "shock".
From the beginning to the end, from the dark humor at the beginning, to the horror in the middle, to the sad and cruel ending at the end, the rigor of the plot and the perfect grasp of the rhythm are outrageous, and it is almost impossible to take your eyes off the screen for a second. Until the end of the movie, I even felt like my soul had been hollowed out, and I needed to sit in a chair for a while.
I admire the director's skill very much. He can actually make a realistic movie look like an overhead world (I thought I was watching a ghost movie on the way), and it is both entertaining and artistic, which can be used as a model for many commercial movies in the future. do. No wonder it became the first non-English set of Oscars for Best Picture …
Rating: 9.3/10
2. The Father
One of this year's set of Oscar nominations for Best Picture.
I was pleasantly surprised by this film, because very few films do this in this way. It uses almost the entire length of the film to present the world of Alzheimer's patients' memory disorder with a plot performance that has no logic and approximation to play with the audience. And all the doubts of the audience were not answered until the final nursing home appeared. And after a round of presentations to the world of Alzheimer's patients, with enough foreshadowing, finally the heroine Anthony cried helplessly like a child, which was even more shocking and heart-wrenching.
One of the highlights of this film is the acting of the two main actors. Even though Anthony hopkins' acting has reached a shocking level, olivia colman, who plays the daughter, can also take over the performance of her father. Very impressive, both of them were very moving.
Rating: 8.8/10
3. LaLaLand
Very famous movie, but I'm only watching it now xd.
In fact, I don't think this one is as good as I thought. After all, I heard that it is a movie with an explosion of word of mouth, but I think most of the first half of the plot is not bad, it's just a general movie structure about love and dreams, so the front is a little bit boring. But Sheng turned the tide in the last Audition to the end, showing the bitterness of dreams and the beauty of regret in love very touching. (Emma Stone's smile in the last scene was so good, my tears burst out right away...)
And because the film's music, Cinematography, and Emma Stone's acting are excellent, it adds a lot to the combination. Overall it's a pretty romantic movie.
Rating: 8.6/10
