Wulai Relaxation Tour - Meet Atayal Aborigines and Experience Trolley

The last article wrote about the accommodation in Wulai. Let me talk about what I did in my Wulai relaxation trip! Because of the casual style, there is no planned itinerary at all. The hot spring hotel can stay until 12:00 noon. room, so I stayed until 12 o'clock before leaving for Wulai to play. First of all, of course, go to Wulai Old Street. I didn’t expect that the holiday was full of people. Walking on Wulai Old Street, I saw Wulai Atayal Museum. It was very hot at noon.

After entering, I found out that there are many Atayal tribes in Wulai, and these Atayal people migrated from Nantou to the north. I also looked at the current distribution of aborigines in Taiwan. I did not expect that the 9 tribes I carried back when I was a child have increased to 16. Now! I suddenly feel that children are really working hard now, and they have to carry 7 more families!

After watching the exhibition, I just finished digesting my breakfast, so I decided to eat some aboriginal food. I ordered bamboo tube rice, fried mountain su, and mountain pork. The mountain pork and bamboo tube rice were delicious. The fried sansu was a little salty and not tender enough, but the price was a bit expensive, so It's about $400, and it's good to leave it for an occasional experience.

Of course, if I am full, I will continue to play. I decided to experience the Wulai trolley. The trolley was originally used to carry wood, and later it was changed to carry tourists. It used to be pushed by people, but now it is the driving force. I was lucky to get on the frog's trolley! However, there were a lot of people on the holiday afternoon, and it took almost half an hour to get there, because a bus can only carry 12 people, and the fare is $50 per person, which is cheap, and it will take you to Wulai Waterfall , save the way of climbing, come back and walk downhill slowly back to the old street, it is easier.

Finally, I came to the destination - Wulai Waterfall. Because there has been no rain recently, the water volume of the waterfall is very small and it has become a mini waterfall!

Finally, I would like to recommend some delicious snacks in Wulai. Wulai millet mochi is really delicious. No wonder there are long queues. You can come and have a look. But the Moon Majiaoshan pork sausage felt okay. I didn't eat any Majiao flavor, and the price was not cheap, so I was a little disappointed. Later, I asked my sister who often goes to Wulai to find out that Fat Girl BBQ's Majiao sausage and mountain The pork skewers are delicious, I have to go again next time. Wulai is about an hour's drive from Taipei, which is really convenient. If you want to get away from the hustle and bustle, you can go to Wulai.
