Today, September 6, is "Sister Day" in Japan.

In 1992, it was proposed by the Japanese cartoonist Hatada Kunio (Hata Kunio / はただくにお) who studies siblings, and it is a memorial day recognized by the Japan Memorial Day Association.

Since September 6th is located in the middle of Virgo (8/23~9/22) the day before, and Virgo symbolizes the love and affection of the younger sister, so it is set on this day.
