Read "When I Leave, As I Like" Tree Xilin｜Meet the Actor Tree Xilin

I rarely watch Japanese movies, so I'm not very familiar with Shirin, who often appears in movies. At first I wanted to read this book, but I was simply attracted by the bookstore's copywriting and beautiful packaging. However, this book was very popular in the library, and it took several months to wait for the pick-up notice, so I hurried to pick up the book without even flipping through it. I didn't realize what the 120 life quotes I wrote in the introduction meant, I thought it was an autobiography. It was not until I opened it that I found out that it was a selected motto! Moreover, the length is a bit short and lacks coherence. It mainly collects interviews from different periods, and categorizes them into volumes based on themes such as birth, aging, sickness and death. Even the title of the book is taken from the advertisement. To be honest, there is some rejection of it at the moment, but on the other hand, the publishing house has paid great attention to the design of this book, the cover and paper quality are very delicate, and finally choose to read it first.

Is this world fun? Everyone is always worrying about "what to do when you are old" and "what to do when you die". Compared with the tangled world in your mind, the reality is far greater than this, and it is an unexpected continuum. I don't want to be happy, but to have fun. Obviously they are all simple foil characters, but they are sincere and vivid, and the old lady is really attractive.

Shu Xilin mentioned many times in the book that he is not suitable for being an actor, nor is he someone who will study the role diligently. But in the movie, she can always express the suffering of the characters implicitly and accurately. I think she has such a charm because she uses an open-minded outlook on life to turn all the sufferings she encounters in life into nutrients for her interpretation.

Daughter Yayako Uchida attended the 43rd Hochi Film Awards for Best Supporting Actress and said, "I think my mother would be very vicious and say that you have given this award to a dead person, and the taste is really good. It's too special. How much is the bonus?" ─P.290

This episode made me cry and laugh. Compared with Japan's conservative character, she is really a rebellious grandmother. Although the content of the book is not much, it has opened up my understanding of an actor.
