Reading Notes "The Law of Thinking: 100 Exercises for Creating Good Habits"
●How to think independently?
- leave the stratosphere
-Do not be afraid
-Think about its motives
- Beware of self-interested mentality
-Keep your mind calm
- Don't trust anyone
● "I think, therefore I am" (I think, therefore I am), the famous saying of the French philosopher Descartes. With this sentence, he points out: It is inferred that we exist because we have the ability to question whether we exist. This line of thinking is philosophical, but it points to the fact that the ability to think is with the root of who we are.
●In daily life, everything related to thinking is often inseparable from habits. We think as long as we are awake, so we have long been accustomed to it, and we no longer notice that our way of thinking has become lazy and hasty. If we want to express our thoughts correctly, we must master the workings of the brain more effectively. As long as you develop good habits, mastering the operation of the brain is not difficult at all.
● Get into the habit of focusing on thinking, essentially asking yourself questions and watching how the insights you gain affect your mind.
●Too many people are stuck thinking that they should be like everyone else. How is this going? Where do you think the line lies between "best to be different" and "best not to be different"? Let me tell you, there is no such line at all. Same or different is acceptable as long as you treat people with respect. On a personal level, you will of course want to address any personal idiosyncrasies that are preventing you from enjoying life. But there's nothing wrong with these traits, just because they don't help you.
●There is no such thing as "normal" in the world, and if there were, the world would be super boring. So, if you find yourself thinking differently than everyone else, celebrate. Never say to yourself, "I'm not normal" unless you're praising yourself. Anyone who criticizes your differences from others can be dismissive. If the other person is someone you care about--family, boss--you'll have a hard time doing this, and I can understand that. However, the point is that it was their own idea, and they were wrong. Anyone can be what they want as long as it doesn't hurt anyone.
●The most effective strategy is to detect these habits as early as possible and take immediate action to avoid them when they start to form. Start now, the easiest time to break a habit is before it starts. So, from the first time you want to go back downstairs to check that the door is locked, and notice that you're forming a habit, stop it. Please divert your attention, sing a song, go to the shower - whatever works best for you. Now is the time to act.
●If you start restricting thinking, you can't let it roam freely. Please fasten your seat belts, we are about to engage in serious thinking. Think again...don't wear seat belts. No matter which way you choose, which way you go, if you start limiting your thinking, you can't let it roam freely. However, wandering freely is the key to creative thinking. Even the most unlikely paths, the most hopeless thoughts, the most unexpected thoughts can bring moments of enlightenment to your quest.
●How to solve the problem?
- Put an end to emotional interference
- Make sure the problem is real
- to catch the right question
-Relax
- not reluctantly accepting the first answer
- Seems to make sense and worth thinking about
- Find the entrance
- don't get stuck in the mud
- Try new angles
- don't panic
- help
