Whether it is a physical book or an e-book, as long as it can add knowledge to learning, relax and entertain for yourself, it is a good book

When you have finished reading a book and confirm that you will not read it again, how will everyone deal with it? Continue to put it on the cabinet, recycle, give away, sell second-hand, donate?

With the accumulation of purchased books, but the storage space is limited, it is impossible to leave them on the floor , it is a pity to organize and recycle, and you have to find someone to give them away. Donating is a good way, but second-hand sales are even better. Except for the second owner, the amount sold is not much, but it can add a few new books when it accumulates.

On a whim on Sunday afternoon, the books were separated again, and about 60 books were sorted out to be disposed of. 1/3 of the books that had to be eliminated due to poor condition or some outdated knowledge content would be recycled, and the rest would be given away. If it is sold on the second-hand book platform (Taiwan pushes the TAAZE online bookstore for reading books), 90% of it can be sold based on past experience.

In the process of sorting out, each book will basically be flipped a little faster. As long as the main point of the book has been grasped and it is confirmed that it will not be read again, make sure to say Bye bye to the book, and wait for the next person to meet you😁

The sorted books, the pile on the right will be recycled and disposed of

In fact, since buying an e-reader at the end of last year and using it now, there are more and more people who want to implement the physical book reduction plan, and only keep some classic or worth reading books, so as to save the books in the future. Activities (it takes a lot of time to come down once 😮‍💨)

The e-reader has been in use for nearly three months. Although it does not have the same sense of reading as a physical book, it has indeed improved a lot of reading efficiency and reduced the storage space of books. It is really too late to meet it😶

Briefly talk about the experience of using the e-reader:

☆Advantages:

  1. Greatly improve reading efficiency, especially when there is only fragmentary time available, and it is impossible to run around with a pile of books, but as long as one is needed, you can read it anywhere.
  2. For those who don't like to highlight or label the book, the note annotation function of the reader is very important. It can summarize the key points of the text marked in the whole book. When you want to read it later, it will be quite fast and convenient, and enhance the input and output efficiency. .
  3. Compared with mobile phones/tablets, e-paper reading is really quite comfortable, and even if the light is insufficient, it is not too burdensome for the eyes (please read in sufficient light).

♧ Disadvantages:

  1. When reading, there is no flip-book feeling, book fragrance, and hypnotic magic that is easy to read in physical books🤣
  2. After reading the book, if you don't read it again, you can't sell it second-hand. Buying an e-book is like buying the reading right of the content.
  3. The way to buy books is too convenient and instant, and it’s easy to swipe to buy more books….

Physical books or e-readers are different for everyone, but whether they are physical books or e-books, as long as they can add knowledge, learn, and relax and entertain themselves, they are good books. May everyone benefit from opening the book 😁
