Prepare the utensils to wash the Aiyu for about 10 minutes. - waiting time:
It takes about a few hours for the Aiyu to take shape, but I haven't calculated it carefully. Usually, I wash it at night, put it in the refrigerator, and it can be eaten the next day!
★Material:
- Clean oil-free pan:
There should be absolutely no grease. I will wash the inside and outside of the pot with handmade soap, and then rinse the pot with a little hot water to ensure that it is oil-free and clean. It is said that if you touch the oil, it will not take shape. I don't want to experiment, so I clean it carefully haha! - water:
Because Aiyu eats directly, it is best to use filtered and boiled cold water, or mineral water sold outside. It is said that Aiyu needs a little minerals in the water, so RO water that is filtered too clean will fail. (I haven't tried it, I heard from friends + Internet information.) - Love jade seeds:
1g Aiyu Seed: 50ml water , this is the most common ratio. Of course, if the seller has specified the ratio, please use the seller's ratio. My own experience is that Aiyu seeds are sealed in a ziplock bag and kept in the refrigerator for two or three years, and Aiyu can still be washed out successfully, so basically they are good things with plenty of energy~ - Bag:
It is recommended to use a cloth bag with durable and non-bleached stitching. Before the hardware store bought the Aiyu cloth bag once, goodbye! If you really buy it in a hardware store, the cloth bags for soy milk are much more durable. - For clean, oil-free hands:
Be sure to wash your hands thoroughly with hand soap or any cleaning product before you start washing, which will not only be more hygienic, but also prevent grease from affecting the results.
★Operation steps:
- Wash the pot and add the required amount of water.
- Measure the love jade seeds, wash your hands, and pour the love jade seeds into the cloth bag.
- Holding the mouth of the cloth bag in one hand, rub the Aiyu Seed cloth bag in the water with the other hand, rub and squeeze, and a slightly sticky yellow juice will be squeezed out. Scrub for about 7-9 minutes, until the whole pot turns into a yellow liquid.
- Covered, it can be placed at room temperature or refrigerated for a few hours to form. It is recommended to wash it at night, and put it in the refrigerator to enjoy the delicious Aiyu ice cold the next day.
- ★★★Hand-washed Pure Aiyu will gradually hydrate, and if left uneaten for a few days, it will turn back to Aiyu water! So please eat up the Aiyu that has been washed and formed as soon as possible!
★How to eat:
- Acid: lemon juice, vitamin c powder, etc.
- Sweet: honey, sugar cane juice, fruit juice, etc.

After washing the Aiyu seed cloth bag, you can add some water in a small bowl, squeeze out the thick Aiyu juice and apply it to the face, wash it off after a few minutes, it is said that it has some effects such as whitening and moisturizing, but it only takes a long time. The Aiyu seeds are finally used for composting, and the compost soil is dug a hole and buried. These energetic Aiyu seeds may germinate and grow a bunch of Aiyu seedlings... I used to pour them directly into several potted plants. Every potted plant has sprouted, and it is still in the mode of letting it grow.
