044|The ignorant are fearless
There are often such bridges in third-rate TV dramas. One person says "you know too much" to the other person, and then that person hangs up. Interestingly, this kind of thing often happens now, and the object of our murder is our own "action force" . We are gradually murdering "that ideal self" by "knowing" .
The concerns of many people in contemporary society are often not because of "there are too many things that you don't know", but because of "there are too many things you know". Through the Internet and social media, we can find in one second 500 patterns to create a side business, 100 ways to get out of a job quickly, 50 skills that will not be unemployed in the next 10 years...
And in the early stages of any major life choice, there are really only two things you really need to know
1. You are 100% sure you want to do it yourself
2. Do this "you're not going to die" (well we're going to die, but you know what I mean)
Then do it. That's it.
I asked a friend around me who had cancer twice and escaped marriage once and successfully turned into a full-time coach: what makes you have the courage to be yourself? Her answer: ignorance.
This answer surprised me, but it did. Some of the changes in myself are indeed due to "ignorance". However, more importantly, while being "ignorant", what power is there to support us to complete one life transformation after another?
Seeing the road ahead because of "ignorance" is always blurry, but some people turn this "uncertainty" into "insecurity", or hesitate to move forward, or rest on their laurels. Some people turn this uncertainty into a kind of "elastic" kinetic energy: as long as it doesn't kill me, it will make me stronger (well, sometimes it will make us more vulnerable), but all roads lead to Rome. , as long as the direction is correct, does it matter whether he walks or climbs to the end?
In essence, this is completely the result of a "choice", behind which is an affirmation that one is "capable": one can and must be responsible for one's own life. In other words, you can always have a choice to face all the situations in life. Since the ignorant is fearless, the ignorant can also do nothing. In fact, "inaction" is also the result of a "choice".
Here, I do not deny the necessity of acquiring knowledge and advice. At the same time, it also invites you to think about your "choices" (including action and inaction), whether it is out of "fear" or "love", both of which can be the core kinetic energy for solving "ignorance". The former will take you into a safe cave, the latter will take you on an unknown but exciting life journey.
The ignorant are fearless.
May you become a better version of yourself and gain peace and love.
