Jardine's Mountain Hanging Plank Road
Take a bus from Central to Wong Nai Chung Gap Road petrol station, which is the only starting point for popular attractions such as Tai Tam Reservoir and Cameron Hill.
Go up the stairs next to the petrol station, walk along Tai Tam Reservoir Road to the left, pass by Wong Nai Chung Reservoir, go to the open-air car park near Yangming Villa, and then go to the third stop of Wong Nai Chung Gap Path, you will see it soon The aqueduct, follow the path next to it to reach the Jardine's South Aqueduct.
Going forward along the trail, you will see rocks that need to be climbed with both hands and feet. Occasionally, there are ribbons and ropes to guide the trail. The path is clear and clear, but because the climbing position is near the mountain, it is not suitable for those who are afraid of heights. Climbing on the rock, you can also see the panoramic view of Wan Chai and Central and Western District from a high place. Climbing over the rock and dropping a section of the water channel known as the "hanging residual road", walking along the mountainside, you can enjoy the scenery of Bila Mountain and the Taikeng area, which is a relatively special route.
Walk along the aqueduct to Wilson Trail, and you can see the mine and Pony Hill in the distance. Take the Wilson Trail and follow the quarry barbed wire up to Pony Hill. Go downhill after passing the short post. Looking ahead, you can see the coastal scenery and the Kowloon mountains on the other side, the scenery is unparalleled.
Follow the road sign to the right to Jin Du Chi Ma Path, walk on the concrete road to the wartime stove next to the Quarry Bay Woods Study Path, walk along the stairs and then descend to the intersection, then turn right, go to the Kang Pak Countryside Trail At the intersection, go back to Quarry Bay via the diversion channel.
This itinerary is in early summer, and the whole journey does not take three hours. It just happens to be sunny and clear, with blue sky and white clouds.
