Singapore. Chinese supermarket
I went to Chinatown in Singapore in the past few weeks. I saw that Chinatown, which was originally a tourist-heavy area, has become quite lonely on weekends. Many shops specializing in tourist souvenirs have collapsed because there are not many tourists during the epidemic. Arrive in Singapore.
One of them was a chain-style souvenir shop, which used to sell three or four ten yuan, and its largest branch was also closed.
But under the epidemic, it can be said that one family has fallen and one family has risen. Replacing the tourist souvenirs is a shop specializing in Chinese food, named Sijiake, which is aimed at the vast Chinese customer base working here in Singapore, and the name is very interesting.
When passing by, there is a long queue! There were at least thirty people queuing to enter the store, no exaggeration! Line up outside the storefront!
Although I wanted to go in and see what was new, I didn't want to waste time when I thought that the queue was so long and I had to queue up to check out.
The next week, I passed by Chinatown again and found that the queue to enter the store was no longer there, so I decided to go in and see some special products.
There is a large map of China at the entrance, listing the provinces.
Personally, I think the most common is this Laoganma hot sauce, which is easy to see in the market, but the price is the cheapest in the whole store in Singapore, so it should not be considered.
The spicy sauce block, with such a large piece of chili in it, made me numb.
Convenient milk tea, pour water into the bag and there is milk tea.
Pillow potato chips, this product is very creative. I bought it and took it to the subway to go home. Everyone was watching the big bag of potato chips. It was free advertising.
Northeast China rice, we usually eat Thai fragrant rice here, and the rice shape is a bit different from Taiwan and China.
I saw a lot of repetitions of this snail powder in the store, I don’t know why this product is so popular.
Braised Chicken and Braised Fish Seasoning.
It is also the first time I have seen enoki mushroom snacks, which is quite special.
Chinese beer.
It seems that you don't have to worry about packing your luggage when you travel to China again. If necessary, just go to Chinatown in Singapore to buy it. There are all kinds of novelty items.
