When we work hard towards our goal, don't just stare at the finish line, but also look back at the starting line to see how far we have come, how much progress has been made?

To be able to do this, we need to measure and record as we accomplish our goals.

However, what if we collect data and find that the results are not what we expected, and the progress is not as expected?

At this time, perfectionism will come out again and shout: I told you not to! Still don't believe it!

Many people will give up at this time, but in fact, you have the bottom 3 buttons to adjust!

  1. Target
  2. schedule
  3. action

Remember the first act against perfectionism? That's right, "cut the target in half"!

If during the process, the data tells you that you cannot achieve the goal at all, you may need to turn the knob of "goal" down, remember to "half" the goal, so that we can "win" this time, and it is more likely that we will be willing next time Do more to "win more".

The second button is the schedule

Instead of insisting on losing 6 kg for 3 months, it is better to extend it for half a year or even a year. The point is to lose 6 kg, isn't it?

Alternatively, you can choose the third button - Action!

Increase actions taken to achieve goals.

If you want to lose weight successfully, in addition to going to the gym, you can also mix it with diet, quit hand shake and midnight snack.

Don't berate yourself, don't be deceived by your memory because there is no data record, and mistakenly think how easy the past goals are, don't give up!

Conversely, when things are not going as expected, look at these 3 knobs to see if you need to adjust your goals, schedule, or increase action?
