But in Kyiv, in comparison with Chernigov or Mariupol, we have a resort.

Today, March 19, is the 23rd day of the war in Ukraine, ours are holding on, NATO is watching and nervously smoking on the sidelines.

In the morning everything was in a heavy, thick smog, during the night, due to humidity, all the smoke in the sky settled on the ground. Smoke is visible around Kyiv, burning 20-40 km around the city. Cities and villages are burning under shelling, tanks and forests are burning, they are trying to encircle Kyiv. Bitterness in the throat, bitterness in the soul.

My loved one has not been contacted for the third week. Invading troops are stationed in his city, communications and electricity were lost in the first days of the war.

In the first days of the war, rockets were fired from the territory of Belarus and, under their cover, Russian troops instantly invaded. Captured the Chernobyl zone and the northern part of Kyiv. Everything happened very quickly, people only managed to hide in the cellars from the rockets, including my friend with two children. To this day, there is no contact with him and they are not released as hostages.

In Kharkov, everything is very sad, many commentators, under the video from Ukraine, write that this is a montage, but I write what I see personally, what I experienced. I heard explosions and shots, saw flying cruise missiles, fighters and helicopters, several times my heart sank into my heels.

A friend from Kharkov refused my proposals to go to Kyiv and said six parrots at home, I feel sorry for them. Sorry everyone...

Shells regularly fly into Kyiv, into residential buildings, people are left without a roof, I don’t know how the state helps, but my friend stayed to live in an apartment after the bomb. His part of the house survived, the windows were sealed with foil, there is no water, no light, no heat, no money.

It can fly into any house, some of the missiles are shot down by our air defense and their fragments also sow death and destruction. According to statistics, more than 110 children died. But Kyiv is not being bombed en masse, but regularly; in recent days, more pharmacies and some cafes have opened in the city, most of them are open until 16:00. There is also a positive side, there are many parking spaces, millions have left the country.

Only women and children, disabled men or fathers with many children are released from Ukraine. For everyone else, the exit is closed, even if you are not registered with the military registration and enlistment office. Border services regularly report attempts to leave the country for a bribe, including Ukrainian officials with huge amounts of cash and gold.

My family did not leave, we still hope for an improvement in the situation and where they should go, there are already millions of our refugees in all countries. We tried to provide military and civilian people with stoves for heating during frosts, successfully.

Even before the war, all the media heated up the situation, whipped up panic, it was alarming. But we continued to live and work.

Our company is one of the suppliers of climate equipment from the Russian Federation Mitsubishi Electric, and usually at the end of the year, the ME representative office in Ukraine encouraged the best partners, dealers, distributors to spend holidays in warm countries.

And this year, a week before the invaders invaded, employees were encouraged to travel to the UAE on a cruise ship.

From us, as distributors, went the director Shevelev Oleg, his right hand Victoria, who had worked for more than 15 years with Shevelev, and Volodya - the head of the branch.

Vika did not want to go, her heart and soul were not in place, but she, as the most responsible person, was persuaded to go by the organizer of tourists.

Let's go from our firm a few of our dealers. On the day of the attack on Ukraine, all vacationers were on the ship, they had one more day of rest.

Everyone except the director Shevelev himself, he understood, like everyone else, that if they close the sky, they won’t get into Ukraine, and that happened a day later.

At Shevelev, the financial opportunity made it possible, without waiting for the end of the cruise, to leave the ship and abandon her wards. He came to Ukraine in a roundabout way, and managed to bring his family to a safe region of the country.

All families had children in Ukraine, all parents remained at risk, everyone wanted to return to their own.

Vika returned to her husband in Ukraine only on the 18th day of the war. They were dropped off the ship and waved a pen, Volodya had a bank loan that was not closed and was able to withdraw a significant amount, the representative office of Mitsubishi Electric in Russia also tried to help everyone.

Everyone got to Poland, but the founder and director of our company forbade us to help. They abandoned their people in a foreign country without money and support, on the basis of the termination of the Cool Term Group company due to the war in Ukraine. But they had the financial opportunity to help people. This is a war, the director answered me, wartime is hard for everyone, there is no way to help. And he called me inadequate and fired me.

But in other companies, they tried to find an opportunity to pay employees money by transferring money to a card. Banks work, financial institutions too. And this is not financial assistance, but earned money.

In the end, everything was from a cruise in Poland, Vika and her husband were in Ukraine, and I was fired at the first attempt just to get my earned money. Of course, I was able to take my money, but it cost me insults and nerves.

What will happen next is not clear, it is clear that if we survive everything will be very sad.

I am proud of those people who do not abandon their own, who defend our Ukraine at the cost of their lives and health.

Ukrainians are a heroic people, and those who defend with weapons and those who work as volunteers make a great contribution to our victory!
