On April 26, we launched the second round of beta testing of The Space, which lasted three days in total. In this round of testing, we invited 10 DAO communities to participate in the co-creation, and also invited some media to join in as observers. There were about 300 addresses and more than 20,000 pixels were painted. There are many communities that have left their own community logos on the canvas, some community members have recorded the footprints of these logos and mint them into different NFTs, and there are also records of social events - The Space seems to be a A wall of historical records that can never be tampered with by centralized institutions.

In this test, we also saw a lot of "confrontation" and "cooperation". People from different communities quickly seized plots and left the footprints of their communities on the canvas. The creators" marked the plot with a high price of $SPACE 10,000, creating a highly controversial image .

The creative community members also used different methods to change these patterns. @bornnaked changed the existing patterns through secondary creation, and the rogue landlord @swiftevo in the previous round also became a "tax collector" in this round. ”, tax these lands through functions in smart contracts (because the tax rate in the second round of tests is very high, and they also go bankrupt quickly...), @kuanthedev wrote a tool for batch tax clearance in discord, It is convenient for the "tax collectors" to become tax collectors in various communities in the later stage...

We also freeze the canvas after this test as an NFT and distribute it to every player who participates in this round of testing. Now you can view the NFTs you own in The Space in your account!

This is also our first beta test since we picked up The Space Discord again. In Discord, we also started from "what can be painted on canvas" , discussed "how to clear taxes ", and now the issues are "whether to build a museum for The Space" and "how to make The Space DAO better in the future" operation" . The Space product is in the process of continuous iterative revision, and a series of new functions will be launched in the third round of testing. We will open the third round of testing channels at 20:00 on May 12 (East Eighth District) , which is expected to last for 48 hours .
