Energy Painting - Health and Peace: The Twelve Vows of the Medicine Buddha
Energy painting series. A pen, a piece of paper, and a peaceful heart, intertwined into a line drawing full of energy. The uniqueness of the picture, which cannot be predicted before the pen is written, is also its charming charm. The creation of "Energy Prayer Paintings" brings beauty and creativity to everyone. Under the brush, all living beings are the same.
Hello everyone, today is the third day of junior high, this time I am painting the Medicine Buddha ! Come and share with you his beautiful energy ~ Medicine Buddha is in charge of things related to health, let this painting bring us the feeling of strengthening health!
As for how this painting was made? Interesting to say, Miracle mentioned before that he was participating in life dynamic therapy. There was a Buddhist hall next to the classroom, and the statue of the Medicine Buddha was enshrined in it.
When I was in class, I felt the energy of the whole classroom was very warm, and I felt very enjoyable. It made me fall asleep all the time in class.
Later, after the course, I went to the Buddhist hall next door to pay homage, said hello to Medicine Buddha, closed my eyes and bowed to the Buddha three times, and at the last time I felt the golden light flickering in front of my eyes (why is it all golden light? I don’t know how to pinch it, maybe because of them All have their own lighting effects XD), in short, there is light~ After coming out, quickly draw the very rough draft.
After I got home, I grinded it for a few days, and I didn’t start writing immediately because I felt something was wrong, because the creation is very emotional! So it took the third day to start, which is the creation shared today. In fact, this kind of feeling that Miracle experienced was displayed in the form of a ball of light, with a ball of light in the middle, and the appearance of the scattered light was different. It's hard to describe, and I think it's incredible 😂
About Medicine Buddha
When I draw the pictures, I create them purely by intuition, so I don't really know the allusions behind the Medicine Buddha. When I was chatting with a senior sister who was quite familiar with this aspect, I showed him this painting. He was quite surprised and told me that the outer circle of light I painted was twelve paths, and the Medicine Buddha has a so-called About the Twelve Great Wishes, I told him that I was a complete novice and didn’t understand anything (this is the truth! If you want to ask me about the allusions behind me, it’s faster to go to the book directly haha)
Then yeah, I don't have any religious beliefs, hahaha. It is true that I believe that the gods and Buddhas of the East and the West have their own powers, but they also let the flow take their course. I feel that it is good to be a free soul. If the fate arrives, then focus on the practice. Buddha often said that there are three thousand dharma doors, each of them works hard, in short, you have to work hard on your own😁
"Looking for Medicine Buddha": The Years of Living in the Mountains of Nepal
However, there is a book that I can recommend to everyone to read. This book is a treasure borrowed from the library. At first glance, I am shocked and want to collect one! It turned out to be out of print ! ! Well, this is really a good book. I cherish it. I want to take notes on every page. The author is a foreigner. Alas, that translation skill is going to be turned upside down, how can it be translated so well! The author and translator are very cooperative! When I saw the Chinese translation, I couldn't help it, and the original must also be awesome!
Although it is out of print, in order to put a link to the third edition of this book, I searched the Internet for information when I wrote this article. My goodness, please hurry in and see what this is ! The 20th Anniversary Edition will be released in January 2022! ! This is the fourth edition, thank you for this article for letting me find out that it has been reprinted! ! (The system shows very excited) Don't miss it when you pass by, this is really a book that has been collected to the extreme. Although the text is a little hard, it is definitely worth the money! Buy it and blast it! ! ! (Wait, why did it suddenly become a book push mode) (It must be a suggestion from the Medicine Buddha, hahaha)
Let me first share a few paragraphs of my favorite text from the book (for the convenience of reading, there are sub-paragraphs here, the original sentence is a whole large paragraph of text):
Describe the Medicine Buddha:
This incarnation of the Buddha is a divine doctor and a mythical figure from the origin of the Tibetan medical tradition. He dwells in a pure land surrounded by wondrous gardens of plant treasures, healing animals, and wish-fulfilling treasures. Of the dharmas that I have accepted and pondered while studying and traveling, the image of Medicine Buddha has had the most profound impact on me, embodying a new ecological world, a world full of love and enlightenment.
On clear awareness:
When people visualize the gods, various images flow through their consciousness, and they interweave a dance of prototypes according to time sequence and linear space. When one trains one's mind to see the world in the clear state, the state of the gods will gradually merge into the clear awareness, creating a wonderful moment.
Rare Botanical Treasures:
I carefully jot down the remedies that the teachers said to cure human suffering, but I also know that these medicinal treasures are disappearing. Many of these plants and animals come from a vanished world, their habitats ravaged by civilization; their medicinal properties are invaluable, but humans hunt them wildly as they increase in value. Without flowers, trees, vines, grasses, shrubs, and wildlife, where would medicine come from? I'm a little puzzled. In the short and long life of human beings, the rich plants depicted in the Kingdom of Medicine Buddha are disappearing, and we are gradually losing the partnership of coexistence and co-prosperity with different species in nature.
Holistic Healthcare and Our Paradise Home:
If humans, plants and animals live together in harmony, we can provide meaningful health care for everyone, and we can avoid the threats of global poverty, hunger, epidemics and biological extinction that plague future generations. By lovingly caring for all living beings, we can obtain medicines for healing, food to detoxify and strengthen the body, peace of mind and peace of the earth. Now, the goodness is like a drop of pure essential oil carefully extracted by an alchemist, slowly turning my awareness into inspiration and hope for rebuilding this garden. This garden was once the paradise home of our ancestors.
The above contents are all taken from the introduction at the front of the book "Searching for Medicine Buddha" , and these are only the words in the first 25 pages! Is it the words Pearl, I was moved to tears when I saw it, I really love this book, I originally planned to read it slowly and then write and share my experience, since it has released the fourth edition commemorative edition, you can also first Go and see its book excerpts, of course, you can go to the library to borrow the first three editions of the book and read it! In short, you will be amazed and written with great care. By the way, I will tell you secretly that other books in this series are also on my to-read list, so let’s all read the good books together~
The above, I am Miracle, thank you for reading today, if you like my article sharing, please clap your hands and encourage me to create more! Wishing you all a prosperous Year of the Tiger! See you next time~
