A Historical Analysis of Urban Commune Autonomy

In ancient times, including the Ming and Qing dynasties, the most basic level of government was the county. The county government was out of control in the village, but now it is better. There are township governments and even sub-district offices. The centralization of power is even more serious than in the Ming and Qing Dynasties. However, the experiences of the Paris Commune and the Spanish Civil War Anarchy Commune show that the municipal government can be completely abolished.
