Qiandao Lake｜Muyue Lane｜Jiaji Dessert

This day, I met a few friends to go to Qiandao Lake for an outing. I came here a few years ago, and this time I come here again. It’s like reuniting with friends who haven’t seen each other for a long time. The scenery is still beautiful.

Tai Lam Chung Reservoir is located in Tai Lam Country Park in the western part of the New Territories. There used to be seven villages at the original site of the reservoir, namely Tai Lam, Guan Wu Tei, Yuan Dun, Ching Kuai Tong, Tin Fu Tsai, Wu Uk and Wong Uk.

There are many small islands in the pond, with different shapes and sizes, and it has the reputation of Qiandao Lake. Along the Tai Lam Chung Reservoir, there are mountain trails or roads for walking: the north section of the pond is the route of the tenth section of the MacLehose Trail in the past; the south of the pond is a cement road, and the height of the two sections is close to the level of the pond. Although the location of the tenth section of the MacLehose Trail after the diversion is higher, if you want to overlook Qiandao Lake, you must find another climbing route.

This restaurant is a popular high-quality Taiwanese restaurant. It is managed by a hotel chef. The food is attractive and tastes good.

After lunch, go to dessert. This dessert shop has two shops in the same area. The big shop is full of customers. There are hundreds of desserts to choose from, attracting many customers. We were all attracted by the super big bowl of Bean jelly. There are different kinds of fruits, and it takes a lot of effort to finish it. It is very satisfying.
