I received a phone call yesterday about a similar policy investigation. I have asked this question before, how did some of the polls published in Germany come about? It was told that there would be such a random call, and the survey center would randomly select the respondents by computer, and when the time came, the person who answered the phone could decide whether to participate in the poll, which resulted in some of the polls reported by the media. Adjustment basis. At that time, because I had never received such a call, I had no personal experience.

When I received the call, I was a little surprised, and secretly felt that I had the joy of "participating in it". The topic of the poll is about sustainability and the impact of the coronavirus. Although the telephone operator emphasized that the poll could last fifteen minutes, I insisted on taking part and listening to the call, making all my choices.

Germany is now experiencing repeated epidemics, the daily number of infections is also soaring, anxiety has begun to accumulate again, and the number of 🧻 in the supermarket has gradually decreased. I always feel that at the moment when the second wave of the epidemic creates tension, there should be no more panic buying of toilet paper, but the "restrained panic buying" continues.

The questions on the phone mainly revolved around the topic of sustainable development, ranging from whether you feel that sustainable development is very important to future generations or even generations of young people, to whether you feel that your personal actions or the actions of the government will have a long-term impact on the future generations' sustainability issues. situation. Feeling emotional when answering the survey. Living and integrating in another country is not easy, and moving from an authoritarian, totalitarian country into a democracy is even easier. I don't often write about politics, but this time I really wanted to record my experience of participating in polls for more than 20 minutes.

When I was asked what I thought the government could do in terms of sustainable development, the first thing that came to my mind was the unwillingness of the German economy to be overly dependent on the auto industry, but was redirected to more specific aspects by the operator's very professional attitude, Because it seems that the part of the poll that needs the respondents to give their opinions can actually be classified and selected. So, I said maybe what I meant was that I would like to make some improvements to the public infrastructure if possible in terms of policies, just like the extremely expensive public transport fares, train fares, and the oversight of staff and poor operation caused by The extreme uncleanness of the public transportation space, etc.; another example is the extremely narrow bicycle lanes on the streets. While the government is carrying out sustainable development plans and promoting green travel, why can’t they build safer bicycle lanes? Many intersections today have bicycle lanes. The white bicycles commemorating the victims of the accident stayed at the accident site, which means that there are still many people who are willing to travel green, even wearing helmets.

This is the first time in my life that I have expressed my views on specific policies so freely without any scruples or fears. Perhaps, as a citizen, this is a right that really needs to be cherished. For some reason [Maybe I know...], after hanging up the phone call, Lao She's drama "Tea House" popped into my mind.

That's right, it was displayed like that, as if I was standing under the stage, looking at the "tea house" set on the stage. The guests drinking tea and chatting were talking at the table, or listening intently. On the wall behind them, there were four big characters written vertically on the pillars: "Don't talk about state affairs." Another impressive line echoed in a voice whose face was not particularly clear: "I love my country, but who loves us!" The lingering voice lingered. What a drama!

When it comes to integration in Germany, for foreign residents who have not yet been naturalized, those who are in the integration stage can already vote for elections. However, the same candidates are not elected during the election. After all, there is no right to vote after naturalization. The various candidate organizations in the government in charge of "integration". This is part of integration and a precious step in life. At the same time, another feeling is the integration of the concept of sustainable development into education, which has been deeply rooted in Germany. Whether it is schools, continuing education or integration into courses, the worst in this regard may be universities. , haha 😄

On the topic of sustainable development, I think Germany has done a good job. There is a label on Matters called "sustainable development". There are many good articles below, covering all aspects of sustainable development. It seems that most topics are asked in the polls, so interested citizens can be traced.

Sustainable development is also a responsibility to the next generation and to the future of mankind. ❤️
