Little Sparrow's Daily | No Menu Cuisine (Part 2)
After looking forward to it for a week, I finally looked forward to this day, and stepped into the door of Chia's store again.
Excited, I pushed open the door and immediately followed the directions to the seat, which is a normal four-person seat. There seems to be a box for many people when I go further into the store, but it’s a pity that it’s not a seat at the bar, so I can’t appreciate the fine knife work of the master up close. , even the craftsmanship of setting the plate, but at least the seat you are sitting in can still glimpse the master's preparation process.
The clerk then served a pot of hot tea to entertain, and also placed a large plate of pickled radishes on the table, and attached a menu to explain the items in the store. There are many kinds of general nigiri sushi and seafood miso soup, but I just read the menu and decided in my heart to order high-end no-menu dishes.
Then I waited quietly for the dishes to be served. It was the first time in my life that I ate food without a menu. I couldn’t hide the joy. I was looking forward to how the chef would design the menu. The first appetizer that came out was an oversized oyster sauce. There is half a kumquat, and the weight is so large that it almost fills the whole small plate, but the little sparrow does not like oysters too much. I just forgot to mention that it is best not to have oysters in the menu. It’s a shame that the clerk was very considerate when ordering at the beginning. Ask, if there are any ingredients that are not to be eaten, the chef will be asked to avoid it.
I looked at the extra-large oysters left and right, and was worried that there would be the unique fishy smell of oysters, but I still ate it with my mouth open. The eloquence is finished, and the appetizers alone are completely amazing. After that, salads, sashimi, nigiri sushi, miso soup, and steamed eggs are delivered one after another. Every item is delicious and happy, and every mouthful is full. seafood flavor.
Among them, my favorite is not the classic Japanese dishes such as sashimi and nigiri sushi, but the fried scallops after the oysters. It is completely beyond my imagination for scallops. The bottom layer is covered with seaweed. Then apply a layer of rich crab paste, and then embellish it with salmon roe. Take a bite while it is hot, and the super rich layering spreads in your mouth. First, you can feel the crispy fried scallop surface mixed with the fragrance of seaweed, and then the fresh crab paste is poured. Seafood, the last is the salty liquid when the salmon roe bursts, and the scallops can still bite, not as soft as raw scallops.
Seeing my adjective, it's not enough to describe the impact of the moment, it's perfect, so the follow-up sashimi is not so special, although it does well.
I ate it for two full hours, tasted every bite carefully, and felt the pleasant atmosphere in the store. As a result, I ate so much that I almost couldn’t even eat the last fruit dessert. I also frequently asked the clerk how many dishes were left. I was almost the last to leave the store, walking out of the chisel with a contented expression.
Will definitely eat again later.
