What do you do when you are unhappy? I will read the speech of the spokesperson of the Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and the corner of my mouth will rise after reading it.

The topic of recent hot discussion is believed to be the Xinjiang cotton turmoil. It is caused by the fact that many multinational clothing companies such as H&M refused to use Xinjiang cotton on the grounds of "forced labor" and "religious discrimination" against ethnic minorities in Xinjiang, which triggered the Chinese side to criticize Dissatisfaction and boycott of brands.

On the 3rd and 25th, Hua Chunying, a spokesperson for the Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs, showed a photo of an alleged "American black slave picking cotton" at a press conference, in order to counter the accusation that China forced labor to produce Xinjiang cotton, and this move . The subtext is, "The crimes you committed in the United States a hundred years ago, we can commit today." Seeing this, there is a familiar feeling at the moment: whenever someone mentions China's Cultural Revolution and the June 4th Incident on the Internet, a little pink will come out and mention that the United States also slaughtered Indians back then, what is surprising; When someone mentions China's Xinjiang re-education camps, a little pink will come out and mention that Australia also killed most of the aborigines back then, and China is much more merciful by comparison. Let me not say , "A killed people before, but now B only seriously injured people, why do you want to target B?" This logic is absolutely ridiculous , but the most unexpected thing is that the spokesperson of the Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs It will also use this trick to divert attention. It seems that the level is not higher than those of the little pinks . Later, it was discovered that the photo was a photo of a Texas prisoner working in a cotton field in 1968, which was far from what Hua Chunying said of "black slaves picking cotton"... I don't even know the fact check The propaganda materials are also the same as Little Pink.

At the regular press conference on March 26, Hua Chunying also said that "China's goal has never been to surpass the United States, but to constantly surpass itself and become a better China." This sentence seems to be similar to her behavior the day before. There are some contradictions. Whenever China has any problems that are criticized by the outside world, China uses the United States to compare itself with itself. Just like this cotton scandal in Xinjiang, China, Hua Chunying "fighted" with the United States on the issue of black slaves in the United States. What is it that China doesn't use the US as its "example"?

I think when I was just reading the first lesson of history in junior high school, I mentioned that one of the reasons for reading history is that human beings should learn from the mistakes made by their predecessors as lessons, and avoid repeating the same mistakes and make human civilization more advanced. In contrast, China's attitude is more inclined to "justify today's self with the crimes committed by other countries in the past", diverting attention from other people's faults instead of facing up to their own problems, and trying to "rationalize" their own mistakes. Is this the appropriate way for a progressive country to deal with the problem? If the United States legalizes rape one day, will China follow suit rather than deal with it with its own critical thinking?

What is the purpose of human beings to learn from history to improve present and future civilization? Or should we use the lack of human beings in history as an excuse for our own mistakes today, and continue to repeat the mistakes made by our predecessors? This is worth thinking about.

Note: I hereby declare that I am a good citizen and will not do anything illegal, so I do not support Xinjiang independence, because it is a crime of secession and a violation of the National Security Law.
