325. Do you feel pricked by needles when faced with doubts from others?
Do you have such experience:
You've never said something like that, and others would be wrong.
Because people only want to hear what they want to hear and see what they want to see , we will subconsciously reject the things that we don’t like/unintuitive (with our brains), so when we are refuted, we will feel plugged in a thorn.
Your position and opinion will affect each other, but the only thing we should care about is whether what the other side is saying is true or not.
In fact almost no position is pure, and no one is completely objective
But we are in an information explosion society, and we often face "decision paralysis", unable to think about what is right.
So when we have too many things to face and choose, we let ourselves fall into the most intuitive thoughts.
But what we should be looking for is correctness, and we often end up being screenwriters
Take writing a dissertation as an example~
Many people write papers by "writing conclusions" before doing research (find materials to support themselves)
We are supposed to get the truth from the data, but in the end it evolves to beautify the data to achieve beautiful results
This is not looking for knowledge, this is just mixing diplomas, the most terrible thing is that this thing is difficult to verify
This is the selfish gene in our bones, we only care about getting the title we want
Only you can know whether you are seeking the truth or acting in a play. In the end, those who are incompetent will inevitably reveal their faults.
Like my work? Don't forget to support and clap, let me know that you are with me on the road of creation. Keep this enthusiasm together!
