On the Internet, there are even scholars who say that the oracle bone inscriptions of the Shang Dynasty do not have the word "Xia". Is it true?

Yang Yingyu, Zhao Shanxuan and others all said that there is no word "Xia" in oracle bone inscriptions. It is necessary to overturn the case and popularize more reasonable knowledge.

Comparing the unearthed oracle bone inscriptions, bronze inscriptions, and Warring States seals with other documents, the picture below should be the word "Xia" in oracle bone inscriptions. But this character is a person's name, and has nothing to do with the party, state, city, country, dynasty, etc.

Second, as we all know, a considerable part of the oracle bone inscriptions are merchants worshipping their ancestors or answering their ancestors, but in almost a hundred years of research on oracle bone inscriptions, there is no content praising "the Tang Dynasty and the summer". "Chengtang destroys the summer" (Note: The oracle bone inscriptions of the Yin and Shang Dynasty only have "Chengtang", and "Chengtang" comes from the existing ancient documents) actually came from the Zhou people, and then slowly took shape in the Spring and Autumn and Warring States.

When considering that the Lajia ruins in Qinghai showed a devastating flood that occurred 4,000 years ago, affecting a wide range of Hetao areas, Zhou, as a member of the West, has common memories of floods and flood control associated with "Xia", which is better than that of the East. The business is reasonable. In fact, the way of dealing with floods is to move the capital, which is also far from the legend of "Xia Yu's control of the flood".

By the way, the "Yu" in Xia Yu's water control is a reptilian totem similar to a turtle and a dragon. Gu Jiegang pointed out that in the documents of the Western Zhou Dynasty, "Yu" was originally only the god of pioneering, and in the oldest book of poems, "Yu" has absolutely nothing to do with "Xia".
