Meditation Guide: Great Saints used this method in the past to gain inner knowledge and enlightenment
Incorrect meditation information
Before we begin, we would like to clarify what meditation is and what is not from an esoteric perspective.
First, it's not a fashionable way to relax, such as to gain "mindfulness," reduce stress, or improve well-being.
An occultist meditates to gain inner knowledge and enlightenment; of course there are other benefits as well, but that is not the main purpose.
Again, we want to emphasize that half-tone efforts lead to only half-tone results, or even no results; and this is where many students stumble at the first level. When nothing happened after a few half-toned attempts at meditation, they gave up; and blamed the wrong approach or lack of time, rather than their own laziness, impatience, or weak will and fickleness.
Because without patience and years of constant practice, failure is inevitable.
Complaining that you don't have time to meditate doesn't help.
If you think about it a little, you realize: we are all the same 24 hours a day; no one has a second more or less than him or her. What matters is how we use that time. We can spend our time freeing our minds, watching TV, on our phones, or working ourselves to death; the choice is always in our hands.
Also, we must issue a very serious warning!
There are a lot of great articles out there about meditation, but many more are misleading at best and nonsense at worst. There are now many very dangerous readings being circulated by numerous "guides", "healers", "yogis" and new age "wizards" who all want to join the ranks of the "occult". Many "gurus" are well-intentioned, but they have no basic understanding of these powers and yet use them so rashly; they do not know the true laws and principles of occult science.
This might sound like a big claim, and you might ask how could we possibly know this? Because this is the experience we have gained from more than fifty years of inquiry and observation. Apart from that, our statement is based on the teachings of true masters and messengers, without these modern nonsense practices in his teachings, promoted by pseudo-secretists.
Please avoid all such "doctrines" and "teachers" like the plague, as they can cause unspeakable and irreparable damage to the body, mind and even the "higher self".
There are various ways to develop the hidden abilities that we have, but these can only be offered from the hands of true masters, to those students who have been instructed and instructed and tested under the master for a long time. Moreover, such teachers are few and far between, and they neither reveal themselves nor their teachings, which have remained secret since ancient times.
Any meditation practice that requires you to twist your limbs into their unnatural postures, or recite incomprehensible "mantras", or breathe in various unnatural ways, should be avoided. None of these things are of any use, especially since wrong breathing can do real harm. The so-called 'yogic' breathing exercises, such as 'breathing', which are now being promoted by all, are particularly dangerous.
This is not to say that there are no real teachers of this technology, but you won't find them or their teachings in books or on the Internet. Truth be told, controlled breathing is one of the most powerful of all mystical powers. When used properly, it is health, happiness, and enlightenment, but when used improperly, or for selfish purposes, it is the opposite of them. Please take these warnings seriously!
Safe meditation practice
We recommend that you meditate naturally, rather than following meaningless and often dangerous complex processes. The meditation practice we are going to give you right now is completely safe and will not cause you any harm if you follow our instructions.
- Go back to a quiet room where you will not be disturbed. It is best not to play any music, even music composed specifically for "meditation" purposes. Complete silence is the key to successful meditation.
- Sit straight in the chair and close your eyes. The chair should support your back properly, with your feet resting comfortably on the ground and your hands on your legs, or on the armrests if the chair has one. You can also lie in bed or on the sofa if you want. The important thing is to close your eyes and relax your body completely.
- Breathe normally and naturally through your nose, not your mouth. The reason is because the mouth is full of bacteria and the nose filters out these harmful organisms.
- Now, as you inhale, count to 6 or 10, whichever is most comfortable for you. Then hold your breath (without straining in any way) and count to 6 or 10. Finally count to 6 or 10 as you slowly exhale. A round down should take 18 or 30 seconds, and a full down should take no more than 10 rounds. Everyone should be able to breathe this simple way, but if for some reason you feel dizzy, or you have any breathing-related illness, please omit this step.
- After you've had three or five minutes of natural breathing, you should find yourself more relaxed and your mind less wandering. You may also feel calmer and more positive.
- If any part of your body is still tense, you are not completely relaxed. Your body should feel like a heavy object, or a bag of potatoes, if the analogy doesn't offend you. In fact, if it offends you, it means you are not at all relaxed! Your mind should be completely blank.
- Whenever any thoughts come up, gently let them go and direct your thoughts towards silence. There is a great need for concentration here. But it wouldn't be the kind of gritted teeth and saying to myself, "Even if I die, I'm going to relax! ' We know some students do this. Once you are completely relaxed, you can move on to the next step - the actual meditation itself.
- The content of the meditation is entirely up to you. But it's better to start with something simple, like a symbol or a word. For example, you can choose a white triangle or a gold circle, or words like 'light' or 'inner peace'.
- Visualize the word or symbol of your choice clearly as if it were hovering in front of your closed eyes. Gently push away any thoughts that try to break in. Just sit, be still, completely relaxed, and wait; watch and wait. Don't switch from one symbol to another, or from one word to another, but stick to one thing in that meditation. You can change the meditation theme of your choice at a later practice.
- Don't try to anticipate anything that might happen, because the mindset of anticipation creates a current of thought that prevents anything that might arise. And these phenomena occur naturally if you follow these simple instructions. In fact this step is very difficult; it may take many months of constant practice before you experience any objective results. But it can be done, and countless people around the world are doing it every day. All you need is practice, patience, focus and persistence.
Final reminder
We hope we've explained it well enough for you to try this exercise yourself. Although the above is how to write it down, it is difficult to translate it into words that cannot be misunderstood. But if you follow these simple instructions, no harm is possible; especially before you begin, you can pray silently to the heavenly masters for protection and guidance. By "Masters" we don't mean some fictional beings that some misguided seekers believe, but the higher forces of the universe; whether you want to call these angels, gods, or whatever. Such beings do exist, and if your prayers are sincere and heartfelt, they will answer your prayers.
Don't be surprised if you fall asleep during this exercise. It's okay if you fall asleep, but it may prevent you from being consciously aware of anything that might be happening.
This exercise focuses on stilling your mind, body, and bodily senses in order to allow your higher senses to come into play. Once or twice a week, 10 to 15 minutes should be enough for those just starting out.
Once you've mastered this technique and are ready to relax, you can extend the number of meditations and use this practice to get inspired on any subject that interests you. For example, you can focus on a particular passage in a holy book that is confusing you. Or you may wish to choose a more complex symbol that appeals to you especially because of its religious or mystical meanings and associations, and then focus on that.
Don't be discouraged if nothing happens at first. As long as you are willing to persevere, the result will come, and you will open up a great wonderland for yourself, and a miracle you never dreamed of. And the results are not only stunning, but inspiring, fun, and uplifting. It is in this and similar ways that the great saints and occultists of the past gained knowledge of the mysteries of life and death and of the hidden laws of the universe.
