Omni = take the bit chain, the slowest speed → address starts with 1 or 3

ERC20 = use the ether chain, it is easy to get stuck in traffic when the market is big → the address starts with 0x

TRC20 = TRON Chain, the fastest → T at the beginning of the address

While USDT is special, some exchanges can go on all three open chains, so be careful when transferring to USDT, you must choose the same chain for withdrawal and deposit, and TRC20 is currently the cheapest. But most of USDT only has Omni Bitcoin chain and ERC20 Ethereum chain, and most of them choose ERC20 Ethereum chain.
