Ayige's short comment#violent movement is a stigma against the six-color flag

On the 26th, when National Taipei University held its 70th anniversary sports meeting, it was violently blocked by more than a dozen students from the same movement. They first mixed with the athletes, then attacked the flag-raising stand, surrounded the six flag-bearers and blew gas horns. After that, they grabbed the national flag, the school flag and the conference flag, and replaced them with the rainbow flag, the tricolor flag and the banner with the words "Peking University Over the Wall to Support Comrade". These sports students are quite fierce, not only frightening the flag-raisers but also making the teachers and instructors who are trying to stop them afraid to approach.

Afterwards, Chen Qian, President of the Student Council of Taipei University, promoted the incident on Facebook and defended the gay movement, saying that the violent action was because the school insisted on holding the school sports meeting on this day and asked for a name, which happened at the same time as the gay parade held in Taiwan. conflict. The same movement is far more important than the school celebration, so this violent protest was held. In the second half of the Facebook article, Chen also complained that he was hit in the stomach by the instructor during the operation, which caused his stomach and retching, and had to take an ambulance to the emergency room of Enzhugong Hospital.

This incident really surprised Ayi Ge. Decades ago, because he was dissatisfied with the poor conduct and quality of Taiwanese university students, he was angry and wrote an article "The Cross of Taiwanese University" to criticize and exhort him. Who would have thought that the quality of college students has become more degenerate and worse after a few decades instead of improving.

Back to the incident itself, Chen Sheng's words can't provide any legitimacy to this violent demonstration at all. Any demonstration that wants to gain the support of the people and society must start with peace. Violence can only become an option for activists when peaceful protests are ineffective, all channels of expression are blocked, and there is no way out and their demands are supported by high public opinion. The Republic of China is a country of free speech. Whether on the Internet or in real life, speeches related to homosexuality issues will not bring any threat or danger from the government to the speaker. The grand gay parade on the 26th is a proof. The gay movement has always had its own public opinion position. There are a large number of various gay organizations, YouTube channels, fan clubs, etc., which are enough to show that the remarks of the gay community are not suppressed in Taiwan, and the channels for expression are unimpeded. The issue of homosexuality is a very controversial issue. From last year's referendum, we can see that only 30% of the people support the homosexual referendum, and the voices and ideas of those who love their families are the mainstream of society. It can be said that the homosexual movement in Taiwan does not have high public support. Although public opinion does not agree, the disguised legislation passed by judges to interpret the constitution has basically satisfied the demands of the same movement groups. This not only shows the brutality of the DPP government, but also shows that the gay community is by no means the target of suppression in Taiwan.

In conclusion, the gay movement has absolutely no basis for violence. The use of violence in such a situation will not have any positive effect other than making people feel more disgusted with fellow athletes. The Violent Movement's use of the six-color flag as a weapon also tainted this flag belonging to all comrades, making it linked to violence, which is a form of smearing and stigmatization.

In addition, the disrespect of the flag by these violent co-movers is suspected of violating the criminal law.

Article 160
Those who openly damage, remove or defile the national emblem and national flag of the Republic of China with the intent to insult the Republic of China,
shall be sentenced to fixed-term imprisonment of not more than one year, short-term detention or a fine of not more than three hundred yuan.
Intend to insult Mr. Sun, the founder of the Republic of China, and openly damage, remove or deface his portrait

Of course, the DPP government that prioritizes politics and Taiwan, which is full of so-called "progressive" colors, will probably not be held accountable for this matter. It is this kind of indulgence that makes these violent fellow activists fearless.

It is no wonder that the former legislator Mr. Cai Zhengyuan expressed his anger on Facebook, and there were voices of approval and anger towards the same movement.

Ayi Ge hereby appeals to all homosexual groups that the only way to gain social support and mainstream understanding is through peaceful communication. It is only by cutting off the table with the violent elements and condemning them in time to alleviate the social division and win true understanding.
