Afterwards, Chen Qian, President of the Student Council of Taipei University, promoted the incident on Facebook and defended the gay movement, saying that the violent action was because the school insisted on holding the school sports meeting on this day and asked for a name, which happened at the same time as the gay parade held in Taiwan. conflict. It can be said that the homosexual movement in Taiwan does not have high public support.
