2044.8 Hailey Wenders: Shanghai's Tongue

After my German class yesterday, I took a taxi and went to UCCA, a few art galleries open in Shanghai. German Thomas Diemand: History's tongue-in-cheek.

Really boring.

I admit that there is a level of thinking and seriousness behind this. I put personal history and various events in Germany during World War II, such as the assassination of West German politicians, the Berlin Wall, and the diving platform of Nazi film directors. But aside from the guide words and the German people or others whose symbols have become culturally subconscious, the artwork is boring. Anyone can be an artist, and his pictures are ugly. . . Well, I know that some people will say that art has no standard aesthetics, is beauty is good, and so on. But I am just the audience and not the curator. My personal opinion is: it is ugly and boring, and the air conditioning is quite sufficient.

So I thought that only the people of Shanghai would have a knee-jerk-like reaction to the Dabai uniform, which was deeply imprinted in the collective memory, just like seeing the red book of the Red Guards and looking like a eunuch. Ten or twenty years from now, will any Chinese artist be able to make a set of symbolic works of art about this history? If it is made, will it be exhibited at UCCA in Shanghai?

Let's use this title to imagine the exhibition twenty years from now.

I don't know if there is UCCA at that time.
