Embroidery time|From scratch, let's DIY beer charms together🍺

How can summer be called summer without beer?

Not long ago, the fireworks typhoon swept through northern Taiwan. The sultry weather and the visit of the typhoon made summer really come! Because of the epidemic, I can't sing loudly: I go to the beach every summer ! I can only stay at home and constantly buy various beverages online, try my best to freeze ice cubes in the freezer, and then drink to myself silently.

How can summer be complete without sunshine, swimsuits, sand, and beer! 🍺🍺🍺

Complaining is complaining, and the little tree who is staying at home has found a new fun: making pendants . Today, let's share about "making small embroidery charms from scratch"!

Step 1: Tool Preparation
【Basic tools for embroidery】
- fabric
- 5 inch embroidery frame
- Embroidery thread (DMC six-strand thread)
- Embroidery needles (parrot 5, 7 needles)
- Water elimination pen
- Wire cutter
【Mini Embroidery Frame 3.5cm x 3cm Charm Set】
- Mini embroidery frame
- small wood chips
- Backboard wood chips (large wood chips)
- Screw x1 Nut x2
- Charm Hook (Bronze 30 mm Lobster Clasp)
- Instant glue (for bonding backing wood chips)

I bought the mini embroidery frame for the pendant from Shopee. A whole set (embroidery frame + small wood chips + large wood chips + screws + nuts) can be bought within NT$100! The hooks are additionally assembled by myself. There are many items and types. This time, the bronze lobster clasp is used.

Step 2: Embroidery Pattern Making

The mini embroidery frame used for the pendant cannot be used to make patterns, because it is so mini that it is impossible to move the needle in the hand! Therefore, to fix the fabric on the frame used for ordinary embroidery, my hand is the most convenient to hold a five-inch embroidery frame, so I use a five-inch embroidery frame.

Draw the size of the embroidery frame of the pendant on the cloth with a water-eliminating pen, and then outline the pattern you want to embroider.

Then choose the color of the embroidery thread and complete the pattern!

Step 3: Assemble the Embroidery and Charm

Remove the cloth with the embroidered pattern from the five-inch embroidery frame, first roughly cut out a circle, and then trim it according to the size of the small wood pieces of the pendant. Remember that this piece of cloth is to "cover" the small wood pieces, so the radius needs to be It's bigger than a small piece of wood, but it can't be exactly the same size !

Because the set of charms I bought is a bit flawed, the small wood pieces are too small and the outer frame is too large, even if the green embroidery cloth is wrapped, the small wood pieces still cannot fit and lock with the outer frame, so I wrap the small wood pieces first. A layer of base cloth was applied, just to make it a little fatter.

The wrapped small pieces of wood can be soaked in water first, wipe the white handwriting clean, dry it, then put it into the outer frame, and fasten the screws on the top of the embroidery frame.

Finally, stick the backboard wood piece with three-second glue (or any other adhesive), so that the back of the pendant will not expose the thread ends naked, add your favorite pendant chain or hook, and you're done!

The water eraser I bought is inconsistent with this fabric, and the traces are not clean...

Is it very simple? ! I don't know if the healing little things I usually see in handicraft stores are made this way... But this is the first time Xiaoshu has done it in his life, and some steps in the middle should be further optimized~ I am still looking for textured ornaments. Around!

Simple process review: online shopping for a set of mini embroidery frame accessories → design patterns and embroider on the cloth → cut out the patterns and accessories assembly → complete✨

I'm going to make my own key ring from now on! !
