Wisdom Tooth Extraction

It was mentioned last time that I had my wisdom teeth pulled out, so let me share my experience today. Wisdom teeth started growing on my left and right sides a few years ago. However, as soon as the one on the right grows out, it is inclined. Not only does it hit the normal tooth next to it, which makes it impossible to continue to grow after half of the growth from the gums, but also forms a gap that is often filled with food debris and is not easy to brush up when brushing. So over time, the tooth decay naturally.

Until March of this year, I started to feel a little pain. After I went to the clinic for an examination, the doctor said that because the location was too deep, I needed an operation to remove it and the cost was RM1,000. This was a bit of a burden for my poor family, so I turned to the government hospital for medical treatment. The first time I went to the old hospital for an examination, the doctor said that my condition was not too serious, because at least the area of the wisdom teeth was not too small, so it would not be too difficult to pull out manually. It was then arranged for me to be transferred to a new hospital for an X-ray and treatment. After several round-trip inspections and appointments, it was finally scheduled to be tested at home on May 6, and then to have a tooth extraction on May 11.

Speaking of the day of the test, it was embarrassing. I was so confused that I didn’t know that there was an appointment time for the test. I was late for an hour and all the test subjects and medical staff were waiting for me. I’m deeply sorry. In fact, I was quite afraid to do the test because I was worried about what to do if I suddenly tested positive. After all, there are many asymptomatic cases now. As a result, of course, I thought too much myself, and then came the day of the tooth extraction. When I arrived at the hospital that morning, the doctor first explained the situation to me. From the X-rays, it can be seen that my teeth are quite close to the nerve line, so if they are opened, there will be a certain risk, so they will try to manually extract them first. If not, surgery will be performed. The medical staff are very considerate and know that I am afraid of pain and nervous, they gave me a lot of anesthetics, and the doctor has been comforting me all the time (the doctor is really handsome~) and then the doctor told me that I had been pulled out before I knew it. down. Wait 20 minutes for the anesthetic to take effect, 10 minutes for tooth extraction, and 30 minutes for the whole process. Luckily, I escaped the opening part~

Then go home to rest. I don't know why my wound kept bleeding, it didn't stop until noon the next day, and it continued to bleed for more than 24 hours. I remember when I went to bed that night I would wake up every few hours and spit out a mouthful of blood. I haven't eaten solid food in the past 3 days. I feel delicious when I watch my family eat. I long for the taste of fried chicken, pizza and western food in my mind.

This experience has also changed my view of government hospitals. Malaysian Chinese always label government hospitals as cheap, poor medical skills, and too many people. But in fact, after this personal experience, I feel that In fact, the service of the government hospital is quite comprehensive. Maybe many people have the concept of "cheap is not good" and don't trust the government's medical technology, but free medical services have indeed helped many low-level people. The only downside is that there are too many people seeking medical treatment. I have to wait 2 months for a tooth to be extracted, and I am lucky to meet the Malays to celebrate the festival so quickly. Otherwise, the nurse said that it may have to wait until It's July!
