Since it is the Seven Wonders, it is natural for the travel agency to arrange this itinerary. On the second day we arrived in Palawan, we took a boat to Puerto Princesa Underground River National Park to witness the wonders of the natural landscape.

Before that, I had never read the relevant information, and I didn't know what the underground river looked like. I could only make up my own mind, thinking that I would go down to a " burrow" or something.

After arriving at the Underground River National Park, you must first arrange the steps to enter, and confirm who is rowing the same boat. Before boarding the boat, you must complete the dress preparation.

Because taking a boat to the national park will also be splashed by water, the tour guide has warned us before boarding and sells light raincoats for us, so we don’t have to take it off when we arrive at the national park, and we will continue to use it. You must wear a life jacket on the boat, so I put on the life jacket of the national park again, and finally the helmet that Xingxing didn't understand at first.

Why wear a helmet when watching a river? ?

 During the waiting period, the tour guide began to explain, and after a while, the boat will row into the stalactite cave, which is a bat paradise, full of bats. In order to avoid being hit by bat poo and to avoid stalactites falling, a helmet is a must.

The wait was not long, and soon I got on the boat and slid slowly to the entrance. Looking at it from a distance, it seems like a big black mouth, very Halloween-like.

When I actually arrived at the entrance of the cave, I intuitively felt the greatness of this natural wonder, and goosebumps instantly covered my body. It seems to be a mouth that swallows all light sources, quietly waiting for us to enter until the light sources completely disappear.

It's really dark here to the point of being scary! 😳

Before entering, the tour guide warned that if the mobile phone falls into the water, it is impossible to find it, and it is too dark to take pictures, so it is best not to take it out. If you insist on using it, you must have anti-missing equipment, such as a waterproof mobile phone bag attached to your body. Of course, the tour guide can buy everything here😆

It was not until the eyes gradually adapted to the darkness that the narrator at the bow turned on the powerful light source and began to explain the landscape. Unfortunately, Xingxing's English listening ability is very poor, let alone English with a strong accent, so the content of the explanation can only be explained with a half-understanding, half-listening, half-guessing, and half-daze .

Unconvinced, I still tried to press the shutter along the way. Of course, most of the photos were blurred to the point of being difficult to identify. Only this one, with the strong light of the narrator, can still be seen a little bit. Huge stalactites and stone pillars can be seen everywhere in the cave, and as the light moves, the landscape becomes more and more abundant.

In addition to the visual feast, the ear also enjoyed the symphony of tens of millions of bats , and . ． ． ． ．

Just as I was on the verge of collapse, claustrophobic from the darkness and smell , the boat finally turned around and was about to leave the cave.

Different from the slow entry, the exit speed is much faster, and you can gradually see the bright exit .

In just 15 minutes, it was like being reincarnated and coming back again. Life was full of hope again!
