My Story in the Interstellar (2)

Previous episode: shorturl.at/dyQX8

If I recall the deepest impression of working in the VIP room, it must be the sound of mutual learning and the rattling of chips. The public relations and jiggers galloped back and forth between the accountants and the gamblers. The dealer skillfully displayed, apportioned, folded, and retracted. The guests pondered over and over again. The figurative reflection of this world, and the wonderful symphony of big beads and small beads falling on a jade plate is played in the collision, how much thrilling, joys and sorrows are contained in it? Don't think too much, as a part-time waiter, this is the beginning of a busy work.

"Beautiful boy, give me 'Tie Guanying'." I just joined the company. I heard this inexplicable statement from the guest. I went to the water bar to ask my colleagues, and only then did I know it was "Tieguanyin". The waiter's job is not only to place orders and deliver meals In addition, you must prepare tea, drinks, and clean up the cups and plates. Due to the large size of the venue and the large number of guests, the F&B department has already deployed "refreshments" throughout the gaming hall, with hot water, tea leaves, ginseng extract, honey, etc., so that the waiters can cook immediately without having to walk every time. The water bar is so troublesome. When the whole table of guests asks for tea, the waiter must be quick-witted, spread the leaves in the cup, flush the water to cover it, and then lift the tray with one hand and place it on the table of each guest one by one to test the response. The same is true for ordering. When the customer places an order, they will also tell various requirements, such as what tomato beef rice should be replaced with pork, etc. After writing down one by one, they must call the kitchen to explain it. When the meal was delivered, the colleague on the walkie-talkie said that the meal had arrived, and immediately rushed to the "base camp" water bar. Seeing that the lineup was full, I was quite flustered. At this time, colleagues can often work together to deliver the meal together. We will describe this kind of scene as "war", so colleagues can be considered comrades-in-arms. After a round of "fighting" on the dining table or dining car, we have to clean up the battlefield, and the mess of cups and plates is inevitable.

Food delivery is a battlefield, and what guests experience at the gaming table is not a battlefield. When the meal was delivered, I could always see them looking tired, suspending the fight, and after gobbling down at the dinner table, they had to rejoin the battle line, which was harder than me to a certain extent.
