Are you heartbroken?

Of course, this sudden heartbeat is not asking if everyone is in a relationship, please take good care of single men (laughs)

This pounding heart refers to Marie Kondo's pounding heart sorting technique. Since it was first published in 2011, the art of tidying has spread all over the world. Searching for the konmari method through youtube, the result will be a group of people with cameras recording their own videos of tidying up their rooms.

And this heartbeat has swept the world again because it was launched on Netflix in early 2019.

But I have to say, it's really soothing to watch a mess clean up hahaha.

Tidying Up with Marie Kondo | Official Trailer [HD] | Netflix

In Kondo Marie's book, it is mentioned that the core concept of the rushing arrangement is to have enough items for your own life and to use them happily, to get rid of the clutter and get rid of the shackles of items (burning!)

But in 2019, Marie Kondo, who once again blew the wind, has really achieved the result that Marie hoped at the beginning?

The 'Marie Kondo Effect' Comes at a Weird Time for Thrift Stores

This is a reference about the Marie phenomenon and the second-hand store (just saw the tweet of the Twitter friend). You can read it carefully.

Infinite loop of lose buy lose buy lose buy

The popularity of smashing sorting techniques comes from the consumption habits developed by capitalism, and large quantities of items are rapidly manufactured, consumed, hoarded and discarded. The impact level ranges from labor, environment, and energy issues (too far) to the most concerned storage issue.

But the effect of this finishing technique is absolutely effective, otherwise I don't think it will be popular from 2011 to 2019 (laughs)

but,
The most important thing in life is this but

If you look closely, you will find that a lot of youtuber's konmari method plus a movie about a major renovation of the room will be shot almost every year or even every six months. That is, after half a year, it seems that the room exploded due to excessive consumption, and then fell into a cycle.

Sorting must be followed by reducing the number of consumption and purchases, plus increasing the number of recycling, in order to create the greatest value. However, the latter two actions, after finishing and creating a bright and beautiful surface, gradually lost everyone's attention.

Marie teaches everyone how to feel the likes and dislikes of items, and learn to appreciate their items. and then?

Because a large number of chemical fabrics and wastes generated by the fast fashion industry and industrial production lines can only be buried and incinerated in the end, which continues to increase the burden on the environment. But how many people can understand whether the things they buy will end up properly, or if they are donated and actually reused, or will they end up in the incinerator and turned into ashes and air pollution? Or just stay in the burial and wait for time to slowly fade away?

The popularity of minimalism & zero waste

And minimalism, which preaches ultra-extreme livingism (hey you) and zero waste that only needs a few pieces to live, must be slowly rooted in people's hearts, and changes are now over-inflated. consumer market.

But how to buy? What can minimalism buy? How to choose? How can I solve the items that I no longer like and can't feel the heartbeat? The next two chapters will introduce you to my own method.
