Andayao Sun Zhongjie embraces celadon with a local heart, the spokesperson of Taiwanese style in the ceramic art industry

Song Huizong was crazy about celadon, and devoted all the financial resources of the whole country to build official kilns, but the firing technology was difficult, and there were not many works. Andayao Sun Zhongjie has developed the technology for mass production of celadon with 10 years of effort, and gradually developed his own brand, which is loved by many five-star hotels and favored by international tourists. It is hard for Taiwanese not to be moved by seeing the sakura hooked salmon swimming on the crystal clear porcelain plate. Of course, overseas people will know that this is Made In Taiwan (made in Taiwan) at a glance.

I have introduced Wang Xindu underglaze red before, and now I will introduce the Anda kiln with the first master of Taiwan celadon and Taiwanese characteristics.

Andayao Sun Zhongjie embraces celadon with a local heart, the spokesperson of Taiwanese style in the ceramic art industry

Andayao Sun Zhongjie has developed the technology for mass production of celadon with 10 years of effort, and gradually developed his own brand, which is loved by many five-star hotels and favored by international tourists. But "you always paint old things, and foreigners won't know where it was made."

In order to highlight Taiwan's characteristics and emphasize Made In Taiwan, Sun Zhongjie actively combined Taiwan's unique creatures, such as cherry trout, black-faced spoonbill and aboriginal culture, to develop a series of products with Taiwan's imagery by combining paintings and ceramics. In the international ceramic art market, Anda Kiln seems to be the spokesperson of Taiwanese style.

Sun Zhongjie, who worked hard for the life of art, broke through the technical bottleneck that celadon was difficult to mass-produce, and was famous in the ceramic art world by launching it at a low price. In recent years, in order to highlight the characteristics of Taiwan, Sun Zhongjie has actively painted the images of cherry blossoms and aboriginal culture on ceramics, creating the beauty of Taiwanese ceramic art and becoming famous internationally...

Celadon, known as "the best in porcelain", first appeared in the Shang Dynasty and flourished in the Song Dynasty. Song Huizong loved celadon so much that he devoted the whole country's financial resources to build official kilns just to see the beauty of celadon. No wonder the ancients praised celadon for its "color like Guibi and Bi, and the air of smoke". Sun Zhongjie, the director of Anda Kiln, who is also fascinated by celadon, said, "The green feeling of celadon fascinates me because it is very close to the sapphire in Hetian jade. In the Tang Dynasty, Lu Yu mentioned in the Book of Tea that using celadon to make tea is the best way to show the beauty of the brown color.”

Celadon Mass Production Art Industry Revolution

Due to the great variability of "celadon" glazes and the difficulty of firing, the works are rarely circulated. Because of his love for celadon and the concept of "art must dissolve in life", Sun Zhongjie devoted a lot of time and financial resources to research, and finally broke through the firing bottleneck. Recreate the beauty of celadon!

Sun Zhongjie said, "Celadine has always been regarded as a work of art, so I think that such a beautiful and beautiful thing is only used by collectors. It is a pity that it should be widely adopted and appreciated by everyone, so I decided to study it. It took me ten years to develop it successfully.”

Sun Zhongjie started testing with a small kiln. Although he can burn it well, once it is mass-produced with a large kiln, it is a completely different matter. "The success of the laboratory does not mean the success of mass production. I probably burned out about 20 kilns before I could break through to 50% or 60%."

Sun Zhongjie recalled with emotion. Strict quality screening and lack of financial resources, after almost burning up the savings, the success rate of more than 50% gradually appeared. Only then did Sun Zhongjie have the confidence to take orders for mass production. It is also mass-produced. Sun Zhongjie insists on using natural active minerals as the glaze. The beauty and vitality presented are naturally different from the celadon fired by other manufacturers using colored glazes.

The celadon of Anda kiln has a warm and green texture, and it is more crystal clear in the solid through the projection of light. Originally a treasure that belonged only to princes and nobles or collectors, Sun Zhongjie produced it in large quantities with the artist's dedication and entrepreneurial spirit, turning his favorite celadon into a noble and inexpensive living pottery. This is not only an artistic achievement, but more like an artistic achievement. It is a revolution in the art industry, which makes it easy for more enthusiasts to own it. It is no wonder that when everyone mentions celadon, they think of Anda kiln.

The beauty of Taiwanese porcelain art leaps to the international stage

Anda Kiln, which has gradually gained popularity and brand name, has repeatedly won the favor of many five-star hotels and the favor of international tourists. But "When it comes to porcelain, everyone thinks of the strong Chinese cultural connotation. If you always paint ancient things, foreigners will not know where they are made. There are many beautiful things in Taiwan, and they should show their own characteristics. ”

Sun Zhongjie said: "Sakura hooked salmon is a national treasure fish in Taiwan. It does not need to swim back to the sea, but it can survive. This is a miracle in Taiwan. Taiwan's wild lily is also the only one in the world. There are so many such good animals and plants. Strong vitality and beautiful, we have to put their beauty into our daily life, we will feel it.”

In order to differentiate the market and image positioning, Sun Zhongjie integrates the local characteristics of Taiwan into his creation and life. Sakura hooked salmon, black-faced spoonbill, phalaenopsis and aboriginal culture are all creative themes. It is hard for Taiwanese not to be moved by seeing the sakura hooked salmon swimming on the crystal clear porcelain plate. Of course, overseas people will know that this is Made In Taiwan (made in Taiwan).

The unique image of Taiwan and exquisite pottery art not only make Anda kiln stand out in the international ceramic market, but also get rid of the cheap competition from China and Southeast Asian countries! Sun Zhongjie said, "Taiwanese should have confidence and meet challenges with innovation and quality."

Taiwan's Presidential Office and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs have repeatedly listed Anda kiln art as noble gifts for foreign guests. Anda Yao has leaped onto the international stage with the beauty of Taiwan, as if it is the spokesperson of Taiwanese style.
