#28 Hire Irtysh Digital with Community Funding

Proposal : Hire Irtysh Digital with community pool

Introduction :

This is a proposal to use the community fund. It is proposed to hire Irtysh Digital with LIKE equivalent to 4,500 US dollars, which is about 164,616 LIKE, and the address is cosmos143r2naeehd4kx0h32xpu55zzkvnh4l9pzp3xx3. This fee includes the cost of three months from November 2021 to January 2022 . The above prices are calculated from a 7-day average for the month of payment and are recalculated every three months thereafter.

For the purpose of promoting LikeCoin on Twitter and attracting more users, Irtysh Digital will assist in processing LikeCoin's Twitter and provide publicity suggestions.

Intention :

First of all, LikeCoin has a clear need for external publicity. Although the development of LikeCoin has never been aimed at pushing up the price of fiat currency, it is gradually building its own value step by step. But as a project with the core purpose of decentralized publishing infrastructure, LikeCoin needs to be promoted to the outside world. The community also needs to continue to have new members to join in order to have the motivation to grow. In the voting intention of motion #19, I also mentioned that LikeCoin was mainly aimed at creators in the past, so it was not well-known in the world of cryptocurrencies, so that the price of its fiat currency has not been ten times or a hundred times like other projects. Although the price increase is not what I personally expect, it is necessary to promote it, attract new members and develop energy.

At present, the resources of the Liker Land team are devoted to the development of decentralized publishing. Obviously, there is no resource to be allocated to the promotion and external expansion of LikeCoin, and it is unreasonable to put all the work related to the community on them. The LikeCoin community is a DAO, a decentralized community, and LikeCoin should not be regarded as the product of a single team. Twitter is currently the mainstream promotion channel for cryptocurrency and web 3 projects, and choosing to promote on Twitter can also reach users outside the Chinese-speaking region. I think the choice of Twitter corresponds to the current needs.

Hiring people to do advocacy is one way to address the needs of the community right now, and it seems that's the only way to do it right now. In the absence of other options, I will tend to do the first trial, continuous review and improvement. I also feel that the use of the community fund this time corresponds to the needs of the community and the interests of the community as a whole. So I will vote in favor of this motion!

Off topic, this is the first time that the LikeCoin community has hired people from the community fund.
