I haven’t posted a post for a while, please forgive me, because I am in the transition period of my work, so I have a lot of information to absorb. At the same time, there is an amount of overwhelm information in the currency circle and every platform every day. There is really no way. Spell out articles in a short period of time. I used to be a reporter, but I left that circle because I couldn’t feed so much information and filter a lot of garbage all the time. At the same time, December is traditionally my rest month. , because it is also my birthday month, so I would greatly liberate myself to take a long vacation at this time in previous years. (well, it seems that quickly spelling out the blockchain teaching article will be put in the practice article XD)

Today, I’m going to talk about the story of me quitting hand shakes and sugar drinks. It’s not sugar. Many fitness friends remind me that I’m not quitting sugar. If I want to quit sugar, I think there is still a long way to go. I think I want to share my process of quitting hand shake first, and then I think this is not the most correct way (and please consult your trusted nutritionist if you have any doubts), this is just my mental journey, and let those who are interested in quitting sugary drinks friends can refer to.

I started to quit sugar-drinking in August 2020. At that time, I basically had one drink a day. In college, it was even worse. During college, I should drink two to three cups a day. The milk tea for breakfast is often eaten by me. Ignore it. Later, I felt that this was really not good. With my work getting busier and busier, I didn’t have time to exercise seriously. This way of eating would make my body fatter and worse, so I started to reduce it. The road to consuming sugar-sweetened beverages starts with reducing it to one cup a day. I have tried this road for five years, and I have probably failed every time XDDD


When I went to the UK, my condition was indeed a little better. After all, drinking a cup of hand-cranked drink is basically about the money of cooking a meal. If you drink it every day, it will cost me about three million to complete my studies (wrong, that is probably my first time Once I realised how difficult it was to quit sugar, I could feel myself sulking because I didn't drink, but at the time I was really in the UK to quit drinking more than two drinks a day, once or twice a week I shake it by hand, but I suddenly feel a refreshing feeling in my body, as if my body is not inflamed.

But it turned out to be another trouble, that is, sparkling drinks. Of course, there are no problems with sparkling water drinks in the UK (I guess everyone should have an interesting story of buying the wrong water when they first came to the UK), and the problem is Coke.

British Coke can be seen everywhere. The most popular drink in every beverage vending machine in our library is Coca-Cola + Sprite. Although I will choose sugar-free, to be honest, it is really deceiving myself!!!

Later, I also started to quit Coke. Fortunately, I don’t think I have an addiction to sparkling drinks. It’s really a happy water for writing papers with my classmates, and I think I drink coffee more often (? Thankfully The thing is, I'm not addicted to coffee. I know some friends who like coffee. It's unpleasant not to drink more than two or three cups of coffee a day. Just like me who used to drink too much, I think it's unhealthy. of.

After I came back to Taiwan, my diet was completely liberated. After I drank the drink for a while, I found that I had grown bloated. In the first half month of returning to Taiwan, I gained 5 kilograms.

And worst of all, I found that the reason I gained weight was not just because of sugary drinks, but the whole eating habit. I was a free bird out of my parents' control. I said to myself: Anyway, I’m going back to Europe, and I won’t be able to eat it when I go back to Europe. God, it’s really hard to endure it for a year and a half, and then I continue to eat it in a vicious circle like this, going back to the graduation ceremony + staying for a short time. I did lose weight when I was in the UK, but when I returned to Taiwan after the epidemic started, my weight skyrocketed again. At that time, although I didn’t need two or three drinks a day, I still had more than one a day. habit,

The scariest thing is that I'll convince myself it's okay because I think I'm better than I was before.

This is how bad habits are really formed. I have been like this until July 2020, and because I came to work in Taipei, I started to be a small social animal (although I still swim very seriously in the early stage), and I have abnormal eating and sleeping conditions. Next, I got fatter again, and then I started to have a high liver index, and I didn't care at all at the time


But it turned out that my other half appeared at this time. The appearance of the other half encouraged me to quit drinking sugar-sweetened beverages, and very ruthlessly urged me to quit immediately. I went to the breakfast shop for the first three months. I'm so sick of it, there are almost no sugar-free drinks in Taiwanese breakfast restaurants, I'm about to collapse!

Especially since I'm used to having a drink for every breakfast!

Later, I started looking for breakfast restaurants that sold unsweetened green tea, as well as various alternatives to satisfy my appetite. I also seriously looked for unsweetened soy milk and green tea in 7-11. During that time, I started craving mints. +Liangtang, not joking with you, it’s really painful, but I didn’t break the gong once, because I was so easy to win, I was ruled by the other half and said: Let’s bet, I can see that you lied !

Being a Sagittarius is about winning and gambling.

After three months, I really stopped thinking about sugar-free drinks. After six months, I started saving money. The average cost of buying a drink was 40 yuan. Every day I saved 40-60 yuan to me My small change account, today I have seen more than 10,000 yuan, because as long as I want to buy sugary drinks, I will manually deposit another one by myself, telling myself that I want to save money, and suddenly I will save money More than 10,000 yuan, I don't think it's really going to be good if you don't drink drinks.

In the past few months, there have been cases where someone gave me a drink, but after I took a sip, I felt it was too sweet and didn't continue. The point is that they only bought three parts sugar, or even one part sugar, and they are used to sugar-free drinks. I really have no desire to drink sugar addiction,

After quitting sugar addiction, I lost five kilograms first, and now I am adjusting my eating habits and increasing my physical activity at the same time. I hope that this year I can lose my weight before going to the UK and find a healthy self!
