[Wensheng Film Review] Invasion of the Skin---Contradiction and Nothingness

When watching this film, you must first understand that "contradiction" is an element.

Most of the female protagonists on the Internet tend to be aliens, but I think:

1. The heroine is a robot, and those men who ride heavy machines and look fierce are the "middle-level" personnel who are responsible for controlling and monitoring the heroine, or after all the aftermath---meaning: this is a business-like organization. Behavior.

what behavior? I guess it's a group like "purifying people", and that purification is killing them (the lustful men) -- that's why the heroine was created and what she's always been doing.

2. The heroine is an alien, and the heavy-duty men---the angels, is the heroine a "god/alien"? Assigned to the human world according to the judgment of good and evil to purify the introduction of mankind

We can find that the men she seduces and kills are either cowardly or filled with hormones and sperm.

Except for the men who bravely rescued people by the sea who were stunned by her with a stone, they were all men with bad temperaments.

And the man who was lured by her into the black liquid under the floor and trapped in it, turned into a hollow body with only skin with a bang, which may also indicate that men and women have sexual intercourse and that men's energy is drained, and this It's also---the sexual intercourse that men desire, but they are drained in an instant without even touching the heroine's hand.

If I follow the above two guesses, it can still lead to this slightly difficult dialectic: the man who looks like the Hunchback of the Clock Tower has a kind heart, but he still wants to have skin-to-skin relationship with the heroine---this is also After he escaped from the place where the heroine was imprisoned and killed the man, he is still a dialectical of being killed by the heavy machine man:

Difference between mind and action. If a good person still does something against morality, is he guilty?

Before 1/3 of the film, we can see that the female protagonist is formulaic: ambiguous words, close relationship, wink, as if the program has been written in her body, and it is repeated constantly. But we can also see that after success after success, she seems to have a few alone moments wondering and thinking about what it means to do so - she even begins to wonder who she is.

Until a man like a man in a clock tower got into her car, she seemed to be changed by the kind heart of this ugly man, and in order to find herself, she broke away from this "safe prostitute" behavior pattern and turned to "vagrancy" to fill the relationship with her. Find yourself.

This is where the paradox is - we all have troubles, and when she falls asleep in her shelter in the quiet forest, she turns to the "human" head and washes away the troubles with the comfort of the environment.

Human beings are so troubled, isn't it better to be a robot (alien)? It's like the angel who wants to become a human in [Wings of Desire].

This is the situation she encountered between these transitions.

And by capturing the instant images of many people lingering on the streets, hooligans, gangsters, and even various people on the streets in the film, the director seems to want to tell us that this is an amusement park/hell in the present world.

The whole world is in chaos, we can't and can't get out, but the heroine does.

Her escape - was burned to death in the raging fire, and then turned into light smoke and floated into the snowy sky.

This is the "emptiness" and "nothingness" of Buddhism, and it is also the "spiritual victory" of Western philosophy.

This is also related to the "circle" that appears in the title.

"Circle" has no end and no starting point, it is like Liezi's theory, it is an ultimate state.

The title of the film, "Under the Skin," represents an emotionless robot---it's like learning through a conversation whether a tall and beautiful woman has only the contradictory meaning of skin.

Last but not least, the music. I'm going to talk about this film from a Buddhist point of view, and the Thai half comes from that creepy, blank-filled soundtrack between the drums -- it's oriental at all.

In the end, Black Widow is still sexy.
