Buying flowers for the first time

I was excited when I envisioned my graduation ceremony.

When I was a sophomore, I bought my graduation clothes. The school stipulates that you can only wear traditional clothes, so I bought a Ming-made Hanfu and was very happy. But that was two years ago. Two years later, when I looked at the Hanfu, I didn't feel that I liked it very much. In the end I chose to wear Malay clothes.

At the graduation ceremony, someone asked me, as a Chinese, why would I wear a Malay dress?

I took it haha. I think I look good with or without clothes, and I won't be kidnapped by clanism.

Then I also wanted to be like everyone, holding a bunch of flowers when taking pictures.

Not necessarily flowers, but also dolls and the like.

I don't understand why it is necessary to hold something to take a graduation photo to look good, especially when many people's flowers are wrapped in large bundles. Maybe everyone is afraid of the embarrassment of being empty-handed.

I originally wanted to buy a bunch of flowers, not the packaged ones. I just wanted naked flowers, roses, not red. They were too bright.

My mother accompanied me to the graduation ceremony. She said, I will buy you a bouquet of flowers.

I said, don't, I'd rather you give me the money for the purchase.

Because the bouquets for graduation season are too cookie-cutter, I don’t want what everyone has, and the price is astonishing.

I really thought that I would not have any flowers, so I brought the graduation bear doll that my eldest brother got at the graduation ceremony 3 years ago. I was also afraid of the embarrassment of being empty-handed.

Nor did the little bear imagine that it would be attending another person's graduation in four years' time. This is called recycling.

My mother is as lazy as I am, she doesn't want to come out once she enters the hotel. Because I am familiar with the place, it happened that I took a photo with a college friend I hadn’t seen for a long time. When the photo was taken in the evening, I packed dinner and went back to the hotel by the way.

When I was packing dinner, I was pleasantly surprised to find that there was actually a flower shop next to the diner! At that moment, I was really surprised and happy.

In fact, I visited that flower shop about a year ago (because I am a luna, so I have no concept of where it is). At that time, I wanted to buy flowers, but I couldn't because the boss said that the flowers were all in the refrigerator. She slept with the newspaper wrapped, and asked me what flower and color I wanted, and she gave it to me. It was different from what I imagined. What I imagined was leisurely choosing the flowers to be displayed. If they were wrapped in newspapers, it would be difficult to see and choose. At the moment, I didn’t have any specific flowers I wanted to buy, so I left.

After placing an order with the owner of the diner, I was still hesitating to buy flowers when a woman was at the door of the shop.

I also don't know what I'm hesitating about, like um, I'm afraid I won't have the flowers I want.

In the end, I walked over before the woman left, and the proprietress thought I was the woman's daughter. Women bought chrysanthemums for worship.

After the women left, the florist's son entertained me.

I asked, are there any roses?

He said, yes, what color do you want? Available in red, yellow and pink.

I couldn't make up my mind for a while, and finally he took out all three colors.

When I saw pink, I thought that was it.

A piece of three and a half, still cheap, so I bought 6. Because my family originally had 6 people including me. Buying a few flowers is also a problem. Too much and too little looks weird. When I read A Man Named Ove Decided to Die, Ove bought two flowers for his girlfriend. Why two? Because there must be a number, there are two. The original text is probably written like this.

The florist's son helped me cut off the overly long stems. The proprietress stuck her head out and asked me, do you want a bag? Is it for graduation?

After speaking, I took out a few samples of graduation bouquets.

I thought about it, but I still didn’t want to be the same, so I refused.

In the end, the florist's son wrapped the newspaper and gave it to me. I was also stabbed by a rose thorn.

However, I still happily took the flowers away. The first bouquet of flowers in my life was bought for myself. It was the flower I liked, and I was satisfied.

The newspaper was too soft and wrinkled to last for graduation.

I went to 7-E to buy some stationery: scissors, scotch tape, large brown envelopes.

Because buying flowers is on a whim, and packing flowers can only be done on a whim, so I use local materials.

I don't like packaging flowers because there is too much garbage, the plastic paper and ribbons that make the bouquet rise are garbage.

After returning to the hotel, I will find a place with water to arrange flowers.

I remembered that someone used the toilet to wake up flowers in Xiaohongshu, so I followed suit.

Toilet with flowers, very artistic. I watched, intoxicated. Mom scolded me and said I was in trouble and the toilet couldn't be flushed properly.

After a while, the toilet smelled sweet roses.

I didn't wrap the flowers until the next day, because the next day was my graduation ceremony.

The process of wrapping flowers is also very simple, watch YouTube to learn.

First hold all the stems and secure them with tape.

The envelope is cut, wrapped, and done.

Full of sense of achievement. Simple and beautiful, and flowers, just the way you like. I'm really excited about this.

At the graduation ceremony, I took a picture of the teacher with a flower in my arms.

The teacher asked who is this flower for?

I said my own, I packaged it for myself, and I laughed when I finished.

I was more excited about having flowers for the first time than attending a graduation ceremony.

There is nothing to be happy about after graduation. It means that I will take on greater responsibilities. Maybe I am the only one who does not want to take responsibility, and I do not feel very much looking forward to making money.

I'm only worried that I can't do things well in the future, because it's too unknown.

That being said, I've applied for a master's degree, and I'm part-time and part-time (I didn't expect that I would have income while studying), except that the teacher didn't seem to care much about me (maybe he wants me to postpone my graduation.) Continue to help him), I think everything is going well.

In the end these flowers were hung upside down by me to support the dried flowers.

Wrinkled, like my grandmother's skin.

Add photos next time.
