Small screen phones are becoming less and less common. When the iPhone 12 mini was launched, I was already eyeing it. A year later, the 13 mini came, and I haven't changed my phone yet. My previous laptop was really stuck, sometimes I forgot why I turned it on. If there is an online class, I have to turn on my laptop at least 15 minutes earlier. It takes time to wait for windows login, it takes time to connect to the Internet, and it also takes time to open the video conferencing software/website for online classes.

When writing a graduation thesis, it takes 5 minutes to open words, and excel takes longer. It takes several seconds to transfer from one sheet to another.

I bought the minimum Macbook Air M1, 8GB RAM + 256GB, dark grey.

1. very cool. This laptop doesn't have a fan, so heat conduction needs to be done well. It's really cold, and when I put my hands on it, the surrounding surface will fog up.
2. Boot up super fast. It is said that when not in use, the screen can be closed. Just lift the screen and start working.
3. The screen is the same color from any angle. I don't know how to describe this discovery, there should be a proper noun. My previous laptop was at the wrong screen angle, and the picture I saw would be very dark or very shallow.
4. The battery is durable.
5. Only type C jack, you have to buy an extension to connect to USB.
6. Fortunately, there is a headphone jack. Not forcing everyone to buy bluetooth headphones.

The next day, my mentor contacted me and said that they could start paying me a salary and let me work. It's a great feeling to find yourself at the right time and place. To be honest, I didn’t expect my supervisor would ask me to start work so early. I would be fine with WFH, so I always felt very happy, hehehe.
