Once upon a time, we yearned for adults, longed to grow up, and be as independent as adults.

Until adolescence, adults are no longer out of reach. On the contrary, they gradually form a gap with them. In our eyes, adults belong to the past tense, they can't keep up with our rhythm, and their views are outdated, only we are the present tense.

This present progressive continues, and along the way, we grow, graduate, work, get married, have children, step by step through the different stages of life, and watching our children be born is like watching the future, we know that The world will belong to them one day, but I never thought that I would have an outdated day.

We have always been in the present tense and never stopped.

However, as children grow up, there will come a day when we will not be able to understand the topics they are talking about, and then we will see an unintentional contempt on their faces. Déjà vu, right? By the way, at the age when we don't understand anything, every time our parents don't talk to us, we will cast a similar look at our parents.

Oh, when did we go from present progressive to past tense? When did we go from the center of the world to the edge of the world? Obviously still working hard to live, why does it become outdated?

If you don't want to admit that you are in the past tense, you must try to keep up with the rhythm of the "present", and you can't be behind others, let alone your own children, but do we have such courage?

If you feel that you do not have the courage to keep up with the pace of the times, you have to admit that you are no longer in the present tense. Just as we have always regarded our parents as the past tense, we are gradually relegated to the past tense by our children.
