Cambodian Folktales: The Origin, Trial of the Tiger

Khmer was an important dynasty on the Mekong River. It was deeply influenced by Hindu and Buddhist traditions and has a rich history and culture. However, many records of wars and disasters have been lost, and future generations can only trace it back with the only remaining relics. . This generation of Cambodians has struggled to search for lost fragments of ancient times and to integrate ancient cultural memories that they should have known.
