Careful answering service engineer

Sometimes I feel like this lacks some warmth, but it seems to be the inevitable result of the gradual development of this commercial society, right?

I helped the internet in my house to apply for an upgrade while taking advantage of the discount. I never imagined that the application would last for three months, and it was not until recently that it was my turn to construct and install my house.

It is said that it is "construction", but in fact, there is no feeling of construction at all. The telecommunications engineer came to the house with a laptop, and after a simple confirmation of the application, he connected the computer to the modem, and set it up for a while, and it was estimated that it would be five to ten. Minutes are over. No equipment changes, no banging, nothing happened.

The only thing that has been done is to go to the computer to see if the speed measurement rate of the network meets the application standard, and also said why it can only reach about 95% of the speed and cannot see the full speed. Basically, many people can feel it. It is a "defensive" term. In short, because there are too many unreasonable customers, the service providers who need real contact with customers on the front line are trained (or required) to use super safe methods. Corresponding to customers.

So it sounds a little long-winded, but I know that the other party has to say so. The engineer felt that he was talking a little more, and was a little shy and embarrassed. In the end, he could only laugh at himself and say that it was all "according to the company's regulations."

So they can only chat about other topics in a slightly embarrassed way, and talk about more business-related things, which will turn the engineer into a machine answering machine that recites the rules.

Sometimes I feel like this lacks some warmth, but it seems to be the inevitable result of the gradual development of this commercial society, right?
