Pick up the messages that will be forgotten sooner or later

(edited)
What's up with the review

Huh? Why is the function of viewing past messages suddenly locked, so that you can only see the last few days?

Does anyone know how to check all past messages of a person?

Picking up some (long) comments while I'm still impressed.

(I later found out that it was just a false alarm 😆, maybe I made a mistake)

Essay | Rereading "The Stranger" by Motonokia

Motonokia said: " I restarted the book because of the absurdity I felt externally. " As for the corresponding strategies to face the external sense of absurdity, the conclusion left a tentative thought: " Life is true to yourself, Treat others with hypocrisy. " After reading it, I left a faint sadness in my heart, and left a message below:

If you live near the fire brigade, you will hear Oui Oui all day long and ask how many missions the fire brigade will do a day? Answer: I'm out of the car all day long. I even need to call 119 to rescue cats, dogs, snakes, beehives, elevators trapped, and charcoal burning to kill myself.

Yes, I thought that firefighters only need fire... and I rarely hear Oui Oyi (airtight windows are awesome), how come there are so many cats and dogs committing suicide and being trapped? The world is so ridiculous!

(It was me who was absurd.)

Motonokia replied: " You can buy the New Taipei City Fire Calendar to see the photos of the macho~ "

It's a very casual palindrome, and I was curious to find it, and it was the following "people-friendly style".

Books and Opinions|A Boy with Mole and Ye Who by An San

Quote from: Books and Opinions|A Boy with Mole and Ye Who by An San

An San 's introduction has caught my appetite, Ye Who's "Nineteen Sixty-Four" , a wonderful book?

Marginal authors always attract me, they are not in line with the taste of the times, they are degraded by the political atmosphere, or the authors themselves are low-key, do not interact with the literary world, industry or academia, and write their own words behind closed doors, as if to write For future readers.

Ma Hua's author, Ye He, and then Google couldn't find any relevant information . He was very surprised, and even more curious about what An San said:

The first edition in 1988 contained fourteen works that can be said to be wonderful, with a wonderful narrative style and a dialogue without a sense of the times. Even today, it is not old-fashioned.

I began to fantasize about whether there would actually be a group of arrogant secret readers' associations, who support specific favorite authors, and secretly circulate some superb articles under the table. The experience is spread out, so that you will not encounter rare writers on the Internet or in the library.

And a member of a secret reader met a young reader who was extremely enthusiastic about literature at a bar. He talked very happily, and he could not help but respond to his admiration. He didn't pay attention to the children who were not yet secret members in front of him. Showing the connoisseur's secret...

Accidentally, the algorithm suddenly flashed, and I googled a little bit of clues. I left a message to An San:

The Origin and Transformation of Sarawak Modern Literature: An Investigation of Constellation Poetry Society Author: Huang Yubin (Graduated from the Department of Foreign Languages, University Putra Malaysia, majoring in Chinese, currently teaching at Senai Junior High School in Johor, Malaysia)

3.3.1 A sturdy tree in the MCA novel world: Ye Who Ye Who, formerly known as Ye Huizhong, under the pseudonym Kadangjia and Ye Qiansheng, is a member of Constellation, and author of the novel "1964" (1988). An outstanding novelist in the Sahua literary world. Zhang Ruixing once praised Ye He as a sturdy tree in the MCA novel world. Zhuang Ruozeng highly praised Ye Who's novels: "Among the authors of Mahua novels, Ye Who is one of the best writers." (1999: 66) Ye Who became famous in the late 1970s, but unfortunately almost disappeared after 1981. I started writing a novel [Note 28].

Ye Who's novels like to cite the imagery of "dark night", highlighting the symbolism style of modern literature. This may be related to the fact that he read many foreign novels, such as Japanese novels, in his early years. In "1964" alone, "Night" is related to "Boring Night", "Cat City Night", "A Transparent Night", "Barefoot Night", "Night Traffic", etc. . Shen Hongquan (1991) said that Ye Who's "Nineteen Sixty-Four" appears to be a combination of skill and rationality, but its connotation strikes the darkness. Perhaps the image of "dark night" is like a negative to him, which can illuminate the negativity and desolation in the human world.

His novels often give people a sense of grimness, the language is concise and full of wit, and he likes to leave a lot of space for readers to use their brains. For example, why the novel "1964" was named "1964" has not been understood until now, which is puzzling. "The Thin Man" tells the story of "Thin Man", a foreigner who went to the small town of Mushan to seek a living, and was finally crushed by a Japanese truck. Why are "thin people" so thin? Why Ye He wrote him so thin is also puzzling. If it hadn't been mentioned by Ye He himself, 80% of the people who went to find a life in such a place would not be able to stay in their hometown (Lin Wucong, 1999: 73). We still cannot understand the reason why he wrote this.

Ye Who's novels don't pay much attention to characters. He pays more attention to storytelling, and sometimes even writes fantasy novels or prose-style fables. For example, "Afternoon on a Dog's Day" is based on the theme of dogs fighting for territory, with strong implication. The storyline arranged by Ye Who is simple but highly dramatic, and its structure and foreshadowing can even be made into a commendable and concise short film. He often brings out the theme implicitly, as if he has something to say, but he only speaks it coldly, revealing a sophisticated insight into the details of life, mocking this riddled real society.

Shen Hongquan (1991) felt that "Ye Who's novels are read with full freedom, without pretense, he narrates everything the protagonist knows, the author does not set foot in or instruct the reader's ideological direction, he blows ripples on the calm river of life. , and the water in the river is constantly flowing. Only after reading can you feel the "pressure" and be excited, just like the dark night he loves to describe, life and life are going on in this endless world, even in your body Calmly glowing with the usual movements, but the inner mind is constantly stirring and changing."

Ye Who's novel focuses on the living conditions in the urban area of Sarawak, showing the modernity of Kuching in the late 1970s. With his stern brushstrokes, he intertwines and depicts some conflicts, cultural differences and contradictions existing in the city. Each short story is permeated with a touch of irony, which is thought-provoking.

[Note 28]
In 1997, Ye He was forced by several friends of the Constellation Poetry Society. He once wrote the novel "Distant Ship", which was published in the "China Daily" Constellation Poetry Society's literary and art biweekly "Wind Up", which was also published later. In the edition of "Sin Chew Daily Literary Spring and Autumn", there has been no creation so far.

After reading this introduction, I want to see Ye Who's "1964" , but I shouldn't find it in Taiwan.

Week 3: Ban Yaming's View of the Movie by Working Girl Jennifer

The first time I read Ban Yaming's "Art Works in the Age of Mechanical Reproduction " (1935) was in "Towards the Era of Fading Aura" (1998), the translator Xu Qiling's choice of words was quite difficult for me at that time. When I read that Ben Yaming pointed out that the emergence of photography has changed the appreciation value of art from the paradigm of "ritual" to "exhibition", my head is already saturated, and I don't read any further.

Later, when I came to Matt City, I met the working girl's cherished literature . She discussed Ban Yaming at the online reading meeting around the fireplace, and she felt inexplicably nostalgic. It was only after reading down that I realized that the latter was talking about movies. The incisive analysis would suspect that Ban Yaming, who had no practical experience in filmmaking, was sitting in the studio to observe?

The reference he cites is Rudolf Arnheim's Film as Art (Film als Kunst, 1932), which provides many of the live situations in which the film was made, which, combined with Benjamin's unique insights, outlines that, to this day, any art critic cannot underestimate The aesthetic trend of decentralization and reader participation . For example, in my message, I quoted the saying of " scattering the mind":

“In the realm of film, people can really practice how to accept art in a state of relaxation. This state of relaxation is not only gaining more and more attention in various fields of art, but it is also a symptom of a complete transformation of people’s apperception. "Art Works in the Age of Mechanical Reproduction: Selected Works by Benjamin" Translator: Zhuang Zhongli, p57.

At the beginning of this paragraph, Benjamin (deliberately) quoted Du Oumei:
His main accusation against film is the way it creates mass participation, calling it "a way for slaves to pass the time, a pastime for the uneducated, the poor and the overworked, and These people are suffering because of their worries... The content of the performance shown on the screen does not require the audience to watch it attentively, nor the audience's thinking ability... The movie cannot ignite the flame in people's hearts, at most it can only make people With a ridiculous hope: maybe one day, I can become a Hollywood 'star'!" Everyone knows that the public wants to relax (Zerstreuung), but art requires the viewer to concentrate (Sammlung) It is a cliché.

(I'm throwing questions in a comment :)
I am curious about the state of "Zerstreuung" (Zerstreuung) swimming in art. The comparison with architecture is very vivid, but if we go back to the movie, specifically, how to enjoy the movie in the state of relaxation?

Zerstreuung:
① (light) scattering, diffusing ② dispelling ③ eliminating, dispelling ④ entertainment, recreation

Small talk

Affected by the epidemic, small theaters began to take out video cameras, and art galleries/museums began to put their exhibition areas on Google Art&Culture . If the technology becomes more and more mature, you can use VR to watch theaters and use VR to enter art museums in the future. Will you choose to come to the scene or skip the boat and car? What about Lawton?

Reply to my message:

Haven't worn headset VR yet, but had a similar experience. Went to an art exhibition with a friend who had binoculars around his neck. I said this is going to the Louvre to see the Mona Lisa's smile, afraid of being blocked outside the wall? But I went to an alternate space in an alley, with a historic wooden floor, the director was an old gentleman with a short and thin appearance, and the administrative staff was a middle-aged woman and guide. The oil paintings on the wall are in the rough jungle style, and the combined portraits of the human body and the natural plants. My friend stood in the middle of the gallery, and with the movement of the second hand, it was actually spinning more slowly, like a tenth of a second. And I accompany the middle-aged woman to guide me, nodding casually, as she mentions the emphasis on brushstrokes that go far and near, admiring the etched paint texture. "Try it, it's totally different." My friend finally tucked the binoculars into my arms. I focused on the painting of the same height in front of me. When I saw the picture, it appeared in front of me. It was very close and very detailed. It was different from seeing it with the naked eye. When I saw it with the naked eye, I didn't have the feeling of being close in front of me. When I started to rotate, I could be very immersed in it, because the vision excluded the environment outside the work for me, until I woke up when I saw an old face that was blurred, the director smiled like he had few teeth, very cute! I think the strength of VR is in the interaction or loading function, which is a different level of experience from viewing with the naked eye.

Week 1: Do you like watching stage plays/theatre or movies? by Jennifer

I still like the sense of proximity provided by the small theater. I inadvertently break the safety distance and move between the stage and the audience. The audience inexplicably becomes one of the elements of the performance. I not only see it with my eyes, but also smell it. The record of "Camera Movement" provides souvenirs, and what it frames may not be what I miss, so the audience who supports the live performance still has its box office. In the art gallery, a dancer with a strange behavior uses the surrounding photographic works as the background. For a while, he squirms on the ground like a worm, and then suddenly runs lamely like a fast beast. Spit and throw things at the writing in a rage. At the scene, there was a graphic photographer who I didn't know who hired him, and he frantically took pictures up and down. The traditional single-lens mechanical camera, the clicking sound was very dramatic, as if he was talking to the beast. There was a discussion after the performance. The photographers on display were sitting in the middle, with the dancers on the left, and the photographer on the right who made the clicking noises, ah, the commentators invited by the gallery! The dancers whispered to the photographer in the middle. (Well, I thought it should have been well-known, otherwise how could the dancer spit at the work.) Then the photographer in the middle quietly passed the dancer's private words to the commenter on the right, and He must have recognized the way they were whispering. The commenter burst out and took out the film in the camera immediately after listening to it, and pulled out the undeveloped negative film completely, making a squeak sound, I was so afraid of the sound, it gave me goosebumps, and at the same time the film floated out in the air in front of my eyes. Black satin ribbon. "Someone said that I interfered with his performance. I am now paying it back in full. Please forgive me!" He gritted his teeth. This reviewer is a good friend who was recommended by the photographer to review the photographic works. He doesn’t know the dancers. He also spoke up for the photographic works when he was upset: “There is no extra points for spitting on the works, and it is not suitable for the theme. "The atmosphere was solemn, and the intermediary was slow-moving frequently, maybe it was because of which link was not good, or no one thought that the episode would evolve into a mishap, the approach of this kind of drama within and outside the show is very different from the fun of watching a movie. .
