This popular handmade croissant shop from Kyushu, Japan has now landed at apm mall in Kwun Tong, Hong Kong, and is the first overseas branch.

il FORNO del MIGNON opened at JR Hakata Station in Kyushu in 1996 and now has 12 branches in Japan, with an annual sales of about 10 million pieces. In addition to making the dough by machine, there will also be a process of folding 27 layers by hand, and 27 layers are folded.

The croissant dough from overseas branches in Hong Kong is directly delivered from Japan, then defrosted and fermented for one hour, coated with honey, and then placed in the oven for ten minutes. There are currently four flavors available: Original, Chocolate (chocolate), Mentaiko and Sweet Potato. Since I prefer desserts, I purchased Original, Chocolate and Sweet Potato. The original flavor has a fragrant honey flavor. The chocolate (chocolate) croissant is rich in chocolate sauce, and the chocolate (chocolate) is not to be missed. As for the sweet potato croissant, there are grains of sweet potatoes, which are full of taste and very sweet. My favorite of the flavors.

As for the price, it is very popular, divided into three-pack and twelve-pack. The price of three-pack of original flavor is 13 yuan (HKD), and the price of three-pack of chocolate (chocolate) flavor is 17 yuan (HKD), A three-pack of Sweet Potato or Mentaiko is priced at HK$18 (HKD), while a 12-pack of mixed flavours is priced at HK$73.
