Caring about the world's income (written at the end of half a year of the Ukraine war)

In the process of helping others, the power of being good to oneself will also unknowingly be rewarded to oneself. This is my personal experience.

Many articles and research literature have said that altruistic people are more likely to be happy. Of course, the interpretation of academic research is more complicated and will not be discussed in detail here. Just wanted to talk about my own experience.

Today marks the second half year of the war in Ukraine. I was shocked when I saw the news on February 24th. After that, whether on Twitter or the Matt City platform, many people expressed concern and advocated various support actions. And I've been following the war in Ukraine since that day. Half a year has passed, and my local support actions are insignificant, but my continued attention and actions have actually benefited me a lot. So I wanted to share it specifically.

1. The power of altruism can not only help others, but also give back to oneself

Many people will directly think that, of course, altruism is helping others. The idea is correct. But it's easy to overlook a point for people who don't really help others with their hearts and actions. The power of altruism will return to yourself unconsciously. This is not a simple religious belief that "good is rewarded". Rather, as one continues to act to help and support others, he/she also builds up strength. And this power is very important to a person's life. This power will make people brave in the face of adversity until the day when they see the light of day. Just like myself at the beginning of the war in Ukraine, I exchanged the $LIKE I accumulated from writing articles into bitcoin to donate to local organizations in Ukraine. At that time, cryptocurrencies had not yet entered a bear market. Later, when the bear market came, because I used cryptocurrencies for charity work, I strayed from the vision of pure investment, so the bear market did not deter me from cryptocurrencies. Instead, they will look for ways to better prepare themselves in a bear market.

2. Sometimes, you may not know it is useful when you study, but you are lucky to have learned it when you use it.

I remember opening an account on Liquid exchange last year and learning to exchange cryptocurrencies. Every step is exhausting. But after the start of the Russian-Ukrainian war in February this year, I am thankful that I studied hard last year. Because the exchange of cryptocurrency is sent to the wallet of the Ukrainian organization, the process is quite simple. But if I hadn't studied last year, I wouldn't have been able to do it, no matter how easy it was!

Third, the clear sky is always there, but people who hide in caves all day will never see it

Broadening my horizons and exploring possibilities has always been something I attach great importance to. But I've found that it's impossible to broaden your horizons by standing still. In order to broaden one's field of vision, one must move his eyes, move his feet, and move his hands. In short, he must act. So, share news on Twitter about the Ukrainian war, write one or two simple and eye-catching comments; donate money to support local humanitarian work in Ukraine; write articles and calligraphy emotions…. A series of actions also unwittingly allowed me to discover and verify more possibilities.

Fourth, anger, sadness, and powerlessness cannot find a way out, but actions can

I saw one country bully the weak and invade other countries; I saw the aggressors arbitrarily slaughter civilians; I saw countless Ukrainian families shattered by the war, and children lost the protection and care of adults; The people frantically support the war and insult the women of the invaded country... These are outrageous and heartbreaking. But outrage and heartbreak will not help find a way out. On the contrary, the action of gathering sand into a tower, or donating humanitarian support, or commenting on current affairs, or writing thoughts, or connecting like-minded people to do something together. These are the real forces driving change. Even if an action seems tiny.

5. Love is a wonderful energy that flows into each other

The appearance of the little girl gave me the opportunity to practice love more deeply. And because of his appearance, it is natural for me to pay attention to the situation of children in war. It is very wonderful that when I pay attention to the children in the war zone and give my heart to them, my little sister and I will become more intimate. I have a hard time explaining this phenomenon, the only thing I can explain is the mutual fluidity of love. This mutual fluidity doesn't detract from my love for little girls because I start to love those Ukrainian children. Instead, when I give more love overall, he gets more.

Sixth, a closer connection with the universe

Whether I call God, the universe, or Natural Flow, I'm actually referring to the same thing. It has always come, the universe is the world that understands me the most, and is also the most considerate of my mood. I have been paying attention to the Ukrainian war for half a year and the actions I have made. The universe has also used these bits and pieces to heal my sense of powerlessness due to confusion and resentment. I have always had a soul torture: why did we come to this world? What is the meaning of the soul trapped in the flesh and bound and unable to be free? Are we here to feel powerless? Thanks to the universe, through my own attention to the Ukraine war and the actions I have taken in the past six months, I have found the answer: we have come to this world to experience a lot of powerlessness. But we can learn to extend the power of our hearts from these powerlessness.

I'm not great, I just love myself

Finally, I would like to say that my ideal is not to save the world. I know that I have no such ability, let alone such a great mind. Just from my own experience, being an altruistic person is indeed happier. In fact, all I want is happiness.
