It doesn't really matter if others think Hong Kong is saved or not.

When I woke up today, I received an article from a mainland friend who read 100,000 Canadian dollars and asked me what happened to Hong Kong. I don't want to just tell him what I've seen. I want to know what he thinks first. If he thinks what this article says is the truth, then I don't need to say anything more.

I think some people's stereotypes are hard to change, they just want to hear what fits their imagination, and I'm past the age of hotly arguing with friends. In fact, not only populism, but some people who are more rational and more elite, the more they trust their own judgments, and therefore the more difficult it is to change their views. A friend recently said that I have become cynic, and I think it's just my attitude towards things I've experienced over the years.

In 2003, I immigrated to Hong Kong from a rural area in Guangdong Province. It has been more than ten years since then. It can be said that I have a certain understanding of both places. In the past, I also tried to refute the prejudice of the Hong Kong people against the mainland, and the prejudice of the mainland people against Hong Kong, but of course, the two sides were not flattering, but they did not reverse their prejudice.

The same 100,000 plus article, "Is there any salvation for the city of Hong Kong?", someone who has a heart wrote a response article and corrected the mistakes in the article. I think it's good, but I don't think there's anything to write about. I think it's really not saved. It's the group of people who agree with this article. Otherwise, these old-fashioned ideas wouldn't be constantly hyped, and there would always be a market.

Whether Hong Kong needs to be saved or not, and whether it is saved or not, is not up to the people who wrote this article or agree with this article. They really don't have to worry about it. If you feel that Hong Kong is not saved, don't come to Hong Kong to buy milk powder and cosmetics, let it rot, and let it have no chance of life extension or rebirth. As long as the people who really live in this land feel what the city should be like and work hard for it, it is enough. I also sincerely hope that those who have done their best for Hong Kong will first be themselves and change their environment for the better, and then worry about those "idiots" in other parts of the world.
