PM Skills - Kano Model

Planning career and life with the Kano model

Half of the year is over

Many companies have completed the review of the two seasons and started planning for the next season

Before wrapping and planning begins

Introducing everyone a model - Kano Model

Can be used in your product, your company, your life

Help everyone think a little more when overwriting

A little more to make next season better

Kano model

First draw the X-axis and Y-axis

The X axis is the degree of achievement

The y-axis is satisfaction

Next put the feature, product or life event you want to measure

⠀⠀⠀⠀

1. The following is the definition of the Kano Model

If you are familiar with it, you can skip directly to 2. Application of Kano Model

⠀⠀⠀⠀

(A) Achievement is proportional to satisfaction

The higher the degree of realization, the higher the degree of satisfaction

This red line is called expected demand

In line with everyone's general imagination - the more you invest, the more you get

⠀⠀⠀⠀

For example: game monsters

Spend a certain amount of time playing the game (achievement level), the higher the level (satisfaction)

(B) The degree of achievement and satisfaction grow exponentially. When the degree of achievement is higher, the degree of satisfaction surpasses the general growth and grows exponentially. This blue line is called excitement demand, which means that everyone wants to give a little but get a huge reward. ⠀⠀⠀⠀ For example : The first three days after the game monsters registration starts to play the new game. The first three days after registration is completed at will (achievement level), and the level rises quickly and a lot (satisfaction) ⠀⠀⠀⠀ (C) Achievement level and satisfaction When the degree of achievement is higher, the degree of satisfaction slowly grows into a negative exponential growth. This blue line is called basic needs, and it is more like administrative matters. Satisfaction will hardly increase. After one year, the daily tasks are fixed at a fixed level (achievement level), and the level is gradually upgraded (satisfaction) ⠀⠀⠀⠀ (D) The degree of achievement is inversely proportional to the satisfaction degree. The higher the degree of achievement, the lower the degree of satisfaction. This green The line is called reverse demand ⠀⠀⠀⠀ For example: others force you to play games for 20 hours a day and continue to play games for a week (achievement level), and the level will not increase (satisfaction) ⠀⠀⠀

⠀ 2. Application of Kano Model

When you want to measure a function that has been launched, a completed product, or something that you have completed in the past three months this year, and after you put it into the Kano model, what curve will your trajectory show in the Kano model? ⠀⠀⠀⠀ In the beginning, everyone was driven by novelty and became an excited need. After the honeymoon period, it became a growing expectation. Completing it becomes a basic need ⠀⠀⠀⠀ Or it starts out like accidentally meeting a scumbag and a scumbag. Every second is painful ⠀⠀⠀⠀ No matter what your feelings are, you need to face your feelings and find out It's better than not feeling at all. Remember how you feel. If you want, you can share your discoveries and feelings with you here. If you want to keep such discoveries in your heart, it's not bad. Hope everyone can have a better season than the last one. it is good
