Influencer Basque Cheesecake

Recently, the children fell in love with the ugly Basque cheesecake, so they tried it under the leadership of their mother and successfully made this Internet celebrity cake. And my role was the photographer, documenting the entire production process. The overall feeling is that this cake is really ugly, but the method is super simple, the failure rate is extremely low, and it is really delicious!

This cake takes its name from the Basque Country in Spain, where it originated. In fact, this cake was invented decades ago, but it only became an Internet celebrity in 2019. It is said that its biggest selling point is that it looks like it is baked, but it is not, giving people a psychological contrast . . .

The main ingredient of this cake is soft cheese, we used two boxes of 180g Philadelphia cheese. Top with sugar, eggs, flour, cream and butter. Be careful not to buy the wrong cheese. I once heard a sad story. Someone tried to make a cheesecake with Cheddar Cheese, and the result can be imagined. . .

Philadelphia cheese needs to sit at room temperature for a while in order to stir. Then mix with other ingredients. It should be noted that the speed of the mixer should be adjusted to the lowest level. After mixing well and no particles, pour it into the cake mold.

You can smear some butter on the sides of the mold, which will make it easier to put the baking paper in place, and it will also be easier to unmold after making it.

After all the preparations are done, put the mold into the mold preheated to 200 degrees and bake for 30 minutes. At first glance, it appears to be really roasted. . .

After the cake has cooled, it is best to put it in the refrigerator for a few hours before eating, the effect is better! Check out the final platter, Yummy!
