【Stationery Control】ICO RETRO 70 Ballpoint Pen 1.0mm

(edited)

This is an old article scattered somewhere in the three caves of the cunning rabbit, re-edited and then published.

This pen is still in my pen holder, it's still so cute (I said it myself) , I still take it out and play with it. So I think it's worth cherishing the moment when I first started to get excited, and I hope everyone doesn't dislike adding and subtracting. :D

A few days ago, when I went to a stationery store with a friend, I saw this ballpoint pen by chance, and I was completely burned by its retro contrasting color design. Look at the combination of aqua blue, ivory white and metal fittings. There are four colors (aqua blue, dark green, black, and red), but the blue, red, and white look like the old tones of the rotating lights in the barbershop. Coupled with a special shaped button with a beveled quadrangular column, how can you not start it? >///<

(↓↓↓↓↓Below is the side photo of pressing the core out. If you want to retract the core, just press the red button on the clip)

In order to show that I am still a rational human (?), I tried to write it for a while, and found that it not only looks good, but also feels very good in the hand, and the nib is very smooth, so the brain wave weakened, and the children broke off again! However, the name of this pen was not marked on the scene. With only the Japanese label on the pen body and the small word ICO on the pen clip, I went to pay homage to the god of Google~

The results are amazing! It's made in Hungary! @@

This ballpoint pen is the Hungary Ballpen produced by the Hungarian stationery manufacturer ICO in the 1970s. It was very popular at the time, but it was once out of print. Because it was so popular, this reprint was released. That big red button with a beveled square shape is what characterizes this pen.

I feel that in terms of stationery, Hungary is a rare place of origin in Taiwan (usually mostly Japanese products). But in fact, the world's first ball point pen was invented by Hungarian journalist Laszlo Biro in 1930! Um! As expected of an industry that requires quick writing!

From this point of view, Hungary has a close relationship with the ballpoint pen! (I feel like I got cold knowledge after buying a pen @w @)

The size of the pen body is: 132*9*12mm

There are replacement refills, and the Japanese website sells them for about 160 yen.

When replacing, in principle, it should be rotated from the junction of metal and aqua blue, but my hands are very cheap, and I wanted to know if the refills of other manufacturers are used. , As a result, the place where the white meets the metal bounced off, and I was shocked! Fortunately, it can be put back in! XDDDDD (good kids can't learn)

↓↓↓↓The following is a comparison of the ugly characters and the serious color difference in indoor photography:

Although I found out that it was a 1.0mm pen after I bought it, it actually looks similar to the 0.7mm ballpoint pen of Baile in the picture below. And for a black ballpoint pen, the ink color is saturated. At the bottom is Mitsubishi's 0.38mm gel pen, by the way, grab it and compare it.

For daily use, people who are used to 0.5-0.7mm should be able to use it easily. However, the body of the pen is a bit short, and when aligned with the grid lines of the manuscript paper, it is about one centimeter shorter than Baile. People with big hands may need to actually write to see if they fit together. However, the position of the metal ring can just fall on the tiger's mouth. I personally think that the weight on writing is more stable~

All in all, all kinds of likes! >w<y For the reference of stationery control people!

About four years after I got my hands on the post-mortem talk:

After writing it for a long time, I still feel that the color is not saturated enough. (Although it's still deep compared to the other Hightide Penco) and the nib doesn't seem to fit very well, it wobbles a bit when writing hard, maybe it's more suitable for people who write lightly.

In addition, the problem with the stainless steel pen body is that it often oxidizes and becomes foggy, so you have to take it out and wipe it if you have nothing to do. But other than that, it's all good. Take it and write it as you go. It has never been cut off from water, and it looks cute. (said )

May we continue to spend every beautiful moment~
